Well, good afternoon and welcome. It's great to be here with you today. Thank you for joining me for the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We're live and we're going to pray together.
And I want to invite you to join me. If there's something on your heart, if there's an intention that's heavy, and maybe something that's burdening the family, this is a great time to pray. You know, I often quote the diary of St. Faustina. One of my favorite quotes is from her diary entry 1731, where she said, where the Lord tells her, he says, Through the chaplet, you will obtain everything if what you ask is compatible with my will.
So let's pray right now for the salvation of your family, for the conversion of your loved ones, for the burdens that you now carry, for that financial problem that is crushing you, for that health problem that is causing you a lot of anxiety. We will pray together. So wherever you are, whether you're at home, maybe you're listening at work, let's take these few extra moments and just pray with me, all right? And you can get in 888-914-9149, 888-914-9149. Nick, of course, is on our social media, and he'll take your intentions on X at Drew Mariani Show. Before I begin, I do have an intention I want to ask you for. I will keep her name anonymous, but she is an on-air contributor to this radio program. She's been a guest on my program for years, and she reached out to me. I was in transit the other day. I'm broadcasting actually live today from Colorado at the 144th Supreme Convention for the Knights of Columbus. And her prayer request was for her niece. Her name's Angela, and she's fought hard to beat drugs for the past five years.
Unfortunately, she has relapsed. And right now, she's in a very dark place. And when you hear these words, these are haunting. She's threatening suicide. And that's a pain that I know hits especially close to home, because this person said to me, her uncle, this person's brother, actually took his life. So I want to pray for that family. I want to pray, I believe God hears these prayers. A counselor let the family know that that kind of trauma and vulnerability is tragically common during a relapse. So she wants to imitate her father, and we need to pray. She's got two young children, five and 12, who need their mother. And they're offering masses for her right now. But this person said, and I hope you're listening to me. I won't give you your name out just for that confidentiality. But she says, we need an army of prayer today. So could you please lift her up during the Chaplet of Divine Mercy? And we're trusting that God's mercy to protect her and to bring her back home. So let's pray together right now. I am joined also by my colleague, Garen Coulson. He's the head of revenue at Relevant Radio. And it's great to have him on site with me. Garen, welcome.
**Garen Coulson** (2:57)
It's great to be with you, Drew.
**Drew Mariani** (2:58)
Thanks so much for praying with me today. Anything you want to pray for before we start?
**Garen Coulson** (3:01)
Yeah, I'd like to pray for my wife, Sandra, who's listening right now for our family. And also for all of those out there just suffering from mental and psychological challenges, especially those listening right now.
**Drew Mariani** (3:11)
Great prayer. Well, let's begin. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O font of life, unfathomable divine mercy, envelop the whole world and empty yourself out upon us. O blood and water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus, is a fountain of mercy for us. I trust in you. O blood and water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus, is a fountain of mercy for us.
**Garen Coulson** (3:40)
I trust in you.
**Drew Mariani** (3:41)

**Drew Mariani** (3:46)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
**Garen Coulson** (3:52)
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
