John Bolton, the Justice Department claims that he sent more than 1000 pages of classified docs to his wife and daughter via email. Then he allegedly printed out all of this info because he wanted to put it in his Trump bashing memoir.

This guy was the national security advisor, and he doesn't know that you can't email yourself classified documents.

Keep in mind that a member of the National Intel Committee was banging a Chinese spy in Eric Swalwell.

These are the people calling the shots, by the way.
On this one count, the penalty is technically up to five years in prison. But this plea deal comes with Bolton agreeing to pay back two point two five million dollars and no jail time. I mean, the judge, in theory, could sentence Bolton to prison, but the money is going to get him out of this.
