Hammer (0:01)

Right now, let's shift gears just a little bit and bring back the Attorney General Todd Reketa to kick off some Legal Stuff.

SPEAKER_2 (0:11)

Legal Stuff. Crime, punishment, judges, legal stuff.

SPEAKER_3 (0:19)

Legal Stuff.

Hammer (0:22)

Still more fallout from the Lindsay Clancy decision.

Nigel (0:27)

Okay, whatever.

Hammer (0:28)

All of these jurors, well, not all, a lot of them are doing like this media tour. It's called a car wash where you do one interview right after the other. That's the media term for it. And I want you to listen to this one chick that spoke to CBS.

This tells me she had no interest in the actual case, but she wanted to push an agenda. She wanted to change future laws, which is not why she was selected. Listen to this lunatic.

SPEAKER_5 (1:00)

We knew that this was a turning point, and this would be something that could change something to make it better for other women in the future, for other families. Justice for those children is this never happening again.

Nigel (1:19)

Yeah, we want to make it easier for women to kill their kids. That's what she's saying, and that's what some sort of feminist agenda that you were talking about is, that's what's happening there.

Hammer (1:33)

You're not in there to change future views of people. You're in there to look at one specific case, one specific trial, and that's it.

That's not what she had any interest in doing. And you know what? Good for that one dude. The one, we've been told, it's a black male that did not put up with any of their bull crap in there.

Nigel (1:58)

But don't you see what we're trying to do, sir? We're trying to change the whole world view.

No, that's not the point.

Hammer (2:08)

Right. It's like when I see these Secretary of State commercials and Beau Baez talking about lowering taxes. That's not your job.

That doesn't go into the purview of what you're trying to do. And being a juror in a case like this, you're supposed to be locked in on this one woman and this one case. You're not an elected official. You're not anybody that's going to change the laws.

God, these women are awful.

Nigel (2:36)

Make it easier for women.

Hammer (2:39)

And we played the audio last week, and I can't remember which network it was. I think it was NBC where they had like three of them. They were all sitting down, having a little fireside chat. And one woman clearly says, we just had a really hard time getting over the fact that she murdered three children. Well, yeah.

Nigel (2:56)

That's the point.

Hammer (2:57)

It was a murder trial. Children died. You should have a hard time getting over that. Ridiculous.

More legal stuff here. The Justice Department reached a tentative plea deal with former CIA official David Rush.

Nigel (3:15)

Remember this guy that is at the the he found all the gold. They found all the gold at his house.

Hammer (3:21)

He loves gold.

Thirty three gold bars, two million in cash, thirty five luxury watches. They all found it. He also lied about his military service to government officials.

Nigel (3:35)

And this is a CIA official?

Hammer (3:37)

Former. Yeah.

Nigel (3:38)

Yeah, former. OK, thank you for that.

Hammer (3:40)

Here's one former federal law enforcement professional. Take a listen.

SPEAKER_3 (3:45)

It's really sort of unbelievable if he spent any time at all at the CIA, and it sounds like he did, that he could have basically fooled them for all of this time.

Nigel (3:58)

Yeah. So what do we have? What are we to glean from a former CIA guy having all this stuff at his house? Thirty three gold bars, two million in cash.

Hammer (4:09)

Is that who Leslie Chow robbed in the third hangover movie? Is that whose house that they broke into?

Nigel (4:17)

It just sounds to me like the guy was on the take.

Hammer (4:21)

And the first thing that I thought of was he's just the one that got caught.

Nigel (4:25)

Exactly.

Hammer (4:27)

How many of these other dudes have this kind of stuff in their house?

Nigel (4:30)

But so scary to think about.

Hammer (4:31)

They've moved it to Swedish bank accounts or offshore accounts or something like that.

A witness, I'm sorry, a waitress reading this wrong. A waitress shared the worst experience she ever had while working at Texas Roadhouse.

Nigel (4:49)

OK, what do you mean?

Hammer (4:51)

Take a listen.

SPEAKER_6 (4:53)

The worst experience I've ever had as a server is when I was working at Texas Roadhouse, I had just started out and I got my first big party and it was a party of 14 They come in, they sit down, I give them my greet, and then I ask everybody what they want to drink, and they're all looking at each other really confused and just staring at me. And it turns out they were all completely deaf, all 14 of them.
