It's something that we're gonna debate, we're gonna laugh, we're going to probably hate, but that's the point. It's so exciting to see all of the different viewpoints of everyone at Kinda Funny come together into one list. Game of the Year, Gamescasts, building out this entire studio. It is the culmination of so much of the stuff we've been doing here.

Something that I found very interesting to myself when I reflect back on my life is, I was always interested in video games, not just playing them, but talking about them. I owe so much to the magazine I grew up with and learned so much about video games from Electronic Gaming Monthly's Top 100 Games of All Time. That is where I learned about the majority of classic video games. I would walk around with that magazine as if it was my Bible, reading that Top 100 list over and over and over.

For 11 years, it's the people that make Kinda Funny. These are the games that have made the 11 of us.

This kinda funny list is entirely subjective. And it's gonna kind of undertake no responsibility to make you sad, mad or downright bewildered of their choices. Or does this list invalidate any top 100 list you might have in your head? It's just the top 100 games that could come up using their minds, their tiny minds, their tiny, brilliant, silly, silly, dumb, dumb minds. If you're still angry, please feel free to use your own tiny mind. I know I do. And unfortunately, it's not fit for broadcast.

All right, guys. What is up, everybody? Welcome back to Kinda Funny Games, top 100 games of all time. Day four. That is a crazy thing to say. How's everyone feeling? Good. I love that. Let me start off again by thanking everyone for joining us here in the live studio audience and everyone watching at home. Thank you so much for rocking with us for four days of this madness. That is crazy. It is my job, tasked by one Tim Gettys, to tell everyone the rules of the game. You guys have been here. I see a lot of familiar faces. But for people watching this for the first time, I'm going to break down how this whole thing works for everyone. OK, so let's talk about what the top 100 games of all time really means. What's the definition of one of our games that makes this list? Is it the best? Is it our favorite? Is it iconic, influential, timeless, classic? All of these are factors. But in no mathematical way, it comes down to, these are the games that we would fight for. These are the games that the people who make Kinda Funny love. Franchises. That was up to the individual on how to handle multiple franchise entries, remakes, remasters, reimaginings, and similar versions. Barrett, of course, in our booth.
