It's something that we're gonna debate, we're gonna laugh, we're going to probably hate, but that's the point. It's so exciting to see all of the different viewpoints of everyone at Kinda Funny come together into one list. Game of the Year, GamesCasts, building out this entire studio. It is the culmination of so much of the stuff we've been doing here.

Something that I found very interesting to myself when I reflect back on my life is I was always interested in video games, not just playing them, but talking about them. I owe so much to the magazine I grew up with and learned so much about video games from Electronic Indian Monthly's Top 100 Games of All Time. That is where I learned about the majority of classic video games. I would walk around with that magazine as if it was my Bible, reading that Top 100 list over and over and over.

For 11 years, it's the people that make Kinda Funny. These are the games that have made the 11 of us.

This Kinda Funny List is entirely subjective and the team at Kinda Funny take no responsibility to make you sad, mad or downright bewildered of their choices. Nor does this list invalidate any Top 100 list you might have in your head. It's just the Top 100 games that could come up using their minds, their tiny minds, their tiny, brilliant, silly, silly, dumb, dumb minds. What is up, everybody? Welcome to Day 3 of Kinda Funny Games, Top 100 games of all time. How's everyone doing tonight? Yeah, yeah, it's good.

First off, let me thank everyone who is here with us in the live audience and everyone watching at home. We appreciate you very much. Let's get this out of the way. They decided today would be cosplay day. And so I decided to dress up as the black cat from Persona.

Or so I'm told. I was going to wear this anyway. It didn't matter. All right, guys, you guys know the drill by now. It's day three. But let me take you guys one more time through the rules of what it takes to make the top 100 games of all time. Let's start with the definition. What is a top 100 game? Is it the best? Is it the favorite, iconic, influential, timeless, classic? All of these are factors, but in no mathematical way. It comes down to these are the games that we would fight for. These are the games that people who make Kinda Funny Games love the most. Let's talk about the franchises. The franchises were up to individuals how to handle multiple franchise entries, remakes, remasters, re-imaginings. I know I'm dressed as a cat, guys. Let's just like, let's just skip through that point. I'm sorry, front row. You guys are like, we'll go, we'll go in early. We'll get the front row. It's like, you guys are getting the real show right now, which is awesome. Okay. Let's get back to franchises. It was up to the individual how to handle multiple franchise entries, remakes, remasters, re-imaginings and similar versions. Barrett highlighted overlaps in similar games and had individual conversations with us to see where we felt strongly before locking the final list. Let's talk about what qualifies to be on our list. The game had to come out before December 31st, 2025 It can come on on consoles, PC, mobile arcade, pretty much anything. If we consider it a video game, it counts. Most importantly, this is full spoilers. So if you guys have been in the audience for the last couple of days, thank you guys so much for coming back. If you're watching at home and you've never played these games before, well, we're going to spoil the heck out of them, because this is not about reviewing the games, it's about celebrating the games. Lastly, there are no ties. We prioritize passion. If there was a tie, it went to the game that averaged highest on our personal lists. All right.
