Also touring the country for some reason is Kamala Harris.
Again, I think this is just her way of seeing, does anybody like me? Does anybody at all want to spend money to put me into the driver's seat to be the Democrat nominee again?
Nigel (0:18)
Well, I mean, the last presidential election should have told her something.
Hammer (0:23)
You'd think, but she's never been one to read the room real well.
Nigel (0:28)
OK, I'm just saying. I mean, when the one of the world's most unpopular person wins the popular vote and the Electoral College and a landslide, the Electoral College. I'm just saying maybe, you know, read the tea leaves.
Hammer (0:47)
She doesn't read the room really well. And here's another example.
This was we talked about this with Tony Kennett earlier, somewhat of a please clap moment where Kamala's telling some nonsensical anecdote.
Nobody knows what to do. There's like nervous kind of half laughter, and she has to tell them when to clap.
SPEAKER_3 (1:11)
Well, this guy who was that guy and is still this guy and that guy.
Hammer (1:17)
Come on now. Come on.
Nigel (1:24)
What's so funny? What happened?
Hammer (1:26)
No one knows, Nigel. No one knows, because it's Kamala speaking. But she puts her arms out like, come on, like, give her some applause.
And people are just looking at her like, why is this weirdo cackling up here for no reason? Is she intoxicated?
Nigel (1:41)
Why is she out there to begin with? Seriously?
No, no, no, no, I'm being dead serious. Why is she even out there?
Hammer (1:50)
Have you seen the meme of like, there's a guy in like a yellow suit and he's backed by a tree and he's rubbing his hands like he's waiting for an opportunity? Have you seen that meme?
Nigel (2:00)
Yes, that's old school.
Hammer (2:02)
That's Gavin Newsom right now, watching her go up and make an ass of herself every single time she goes out.
Nigel (2:10)
I got it.
Hammer (2:10)
That's greasy Gavin, because this isn't the first time the cackling queen, America's wine mom, Kamala Harris, has had a please clap moment.
SPEAKER_3 (2:21)
And so I think about this subject of our yellow school buses in that regard. Because think about it, yellow school buses are our nation's largest form of mass transit.
How about that? Every day. So yes, and let's applaud, because it gets where they need to go.
Nigel (2:42)
She could say that like an awkward cackle.
Hammer (2:45)
Right.
It's not even a laugh, it's a cackle. Like when Hillary would laugh, it was almost like a howl. When this woman laughs, it's a cackle. Great moments in please clap history. How about the ice queen from Minnesota, Amy Klobuchar?
Amy Klobuchar (3:04)
And every single time I have run, I have won every single congressional district in my state, including Michelle Bachman's, okay? That's when you guys are supposed to cheer. Okay.
Nigel (3:16)
All right. So. She's awful.
Hammer (3:21)
Great moments in please clap history. Look, let's be honest, if you're seeding a March Madness style tournament, this clip is the 1976 Hoosiers.
SPEAKER_5 (3:32)
I think the next president needs to be a lot quieter, but send a signal that we're prepared to act in the national security interests of this country to get back in the business of creating a more peaceful world. Please clap.
Nigel (3:48)
Jib, do you remember, do you remember Donald Trump's nickname for Jib?
Hammer (3:55)
Low energy Jib. And that was toward the end, too. Like, listen, how defeated he sounds. Like he knows the wheels are coming off.
SPEAKER_3 (4:03)
Oh, yeah.
Hammer (4:04)
Please clap. I mean, just so down and breathy exhale.
Nigel (4:12)
Please clap.
