Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, and happy Wednesday. We are still on Verdict Watch in the Lindsay Clancy Trial. Yesterday, Judge William Sullivan ordering the jury to keep deliberating after they said they were deadlocked, and they are still going as of this moment, though there was some drama in court this morning. We'll bring you the updates, substantive updates that is, from the jury as we get them. But wait until you hear what happened outside of court yesterday, and then there was a follow up this morning. At approximately 3:40 p.m., as the jury was exiting the courthouse, they asked if they could leave at 3.3 and they were given permission. Massachusetts State Police arrested a 56-year-old retired nurse named Dawn Light for allegedly filming jurors. She was arraigned today for the felony charge of quote, intimidation of witnesses, jurors and persons furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings. We're looking at her now for the listening audience. She's somewhat heavy set. She's got very bleach blonde hair. She looks like she's well, I think I just said she was late 50s.
She looks sort of apathetic here, like everyone's wasting her time. She's not sure why she's here. She's not, I don't know, on the larger side. I can't tell how tall she is. And the real question is, what the hell was this woman doing filming jurors? Well, we know a little bit more. First of all, this charge carries up to 20 years in prison on a case like this, where the potential penalty is life in prison. Normally it's a 10 year potential sentence. Here it's up to 20 Now, I think that kind of a sentence is reserved for, you know, nice puppy you have here. Shame if anything happened to it if, you know, Mr. was found guilty in this trial, it's kind of that situation.
But filming jurors is no small deal. This is actually very serious what she's accused of doing. Now her attorney says, oh, it's all just a huge misunderstanding that she was caught just trying to get a picture of Lindsay Clancy.
And then Light, this morning, pleaded not guilty and is due back in court next month. Outside the courthouse, this woman was treated like she's a celebrity and appeared to be loving it. Here's video posted by NewsNation's Brian Enten. Watch.

She's giggling. So, so fun to have basically shut the trial down and scared the jurors. Ha ha ha, laugh riot. They don't have enough pressure on them. Apparently Ms. Light is a big true crime junkie. I mean, I think certainly I am. She'd certainly enjoy our new series, MK Confidential on the double life of Scott Peterson is doing very well.

The polygraph is scheduled for the next afternoon, Christmas day, with an agent from the California Department of Justice coming by to assist. At one o'clock, as detectives are waiting for him, they get a phone call. Scott has changed his mind. He says his father, Lee, told him taking a polygraph was not a good idea. Scott Peterson will never take a police polygraph.
And we all know why.
Delving back into this case is, I mean, it's been on my mind. Like Sarah was overdoing my hair this morning. It was all she and I could talk about. It's just, it's such a crazy case, and it's unbelievable that it's still ongoing. He is still trying to get a new trial. There was just a big ruling in April. Just when you think you're done with this guy, he pops back up. Okay, but back to our lead story here about this dawn light.
