All right, yes, yes, yes, that's right. So we are cooking with Gas Baby this morning. I want to welcome all of you. We've been off and running. It is a short week, no show on Friday. So we're accelerating through, pushing the limits of what's possible here at Simply Cyber. Oh, my God. Coffee is life. I got to tell you guys, I know some people are more tea people, but I got to tell you, my blood type is French roast. Guys, listen, every single day we do the show live. You are part of the show. Your chat is right here, coming in hot with us. I do want to say we have eight stories, top cyber news stories of the day for July 1st. We're going to go through them. Of course, every episode, we give you the high level vibes of what you need to know. The same thing that you'd be able to do if you had like an AI scraping the interwebs and pulling down a morning brief for you, which is fine. That's a great way to do it. But why would you want to be here? Well, first of all, the community is awesome, and it's all about networking in 2026 But more importantly, I freaking love cyber security. I love educating. I love helping people. And when you put those all into the pestle bowl and start grinding the crap out of it, it makes a nice little mix there that is the show. So what do I do? I take the story. I go beyond the headlines. I give you insights, value, things that you wouldn't necessarily get just by reading it on the surface, because I've got experience. I've got life lessons. I've seen it. And you know what makes me tick? You know what makes me happy?
Watching someone else not have to struggle through some of the challenges that I went through because there's no freaking reason for you to have to deal with it. If someone can just tell you, anyone who says like, oh no, they've got to have experienced it for themselves. They've got to trip and fall and smash their face on the sidewalk to really earn it. Those people are gatekeeping my guy. Like what the hell? Like there's going to be other challenges that you're going to encounter anyway. So like smash your face on the next sidewalk. So that's what we're going to do here. Of the eight stories, I haven't researched or prepped for any of them. I don't know what they're going to be. So, you know, like you're getting my honest reaction, real talk coming at you. Now every single day of the week as Sierra Montgomery just pushed in, put in is way back Wednesday for Wednesday. So tidbits Tuesday, way back Wednesday, which I mean Thursday, we're going to pick a piece of technology in a minute, kind of a throwback and see if people can vibe with it, see if people can, you know, just feel a little nostalgia.
But if you're young, maybe you saw it in a history book or something like that. Well, it's always different. We have some fun. The reality is cybersecurity is an incredibly serious topic. And if we were serious all the frigging time, we'd go nuts. So we have to have some fun. We had some hot pinks and blues. We had cool lights behind me. We still do the real work, but we don't make it own us. All right?
