Last night, Nigel, Home Run Derby.

**Nigel** (0:03)
Oh man, we almost had it, me and you, in it together.

**Hammer** (0:07)
We had Schwarber to win, and I gave a long shot bet of Jordan Walker.

**Nigel** (0:14)
That's right.

**Hammer** (0:15)
And he ended up winning it last night. So if you would have bet both guys, you were guaranteed to make some sort of money in the final, either way.

**Nigel** (0:23)
I'm thinking about bettin him, too. I just went with Schwarber, though, the IU guy.

**Hammer** (0:29)
Walker of the Cardinals, he was down to one swing left. And the way the home run derby works is you get like 12 swings. Anything that's not a home run counts as an out, or you lose a swing. So Schwarber puts up a big number in the final round. He goes first. I think he puts up 11
And the way the derby works is if you hit a home run on your last swing, you get to keep going. So my man Walker was down. He only had six home runs with like three swings left. And then he ripped off six straight bombs, including three in a row when it came down to if you miss you're done. Here's what it sounded like.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:17)
One more to tie, two to win it.
We are tied! Our man Jordan Walker can up end the whole thing as one of the longest shots on the board with a home run right here.

**Nigel** (1:43)
And thus, you and I lose our bet.

**Hammer** (1:47)
And you know what? I tip my hat to him, even though he's in no good, rotten, dirty St. Louis Cardinal, I felt good about Schwaber's round. 11 home runs in the final round.
He put on a show, but then, just like Reggie Miller in the Garden, Jordan Walker goes into Philly, and the fans are booing him because they want their guy, Schwaber, to win, who plays on the Phillies. Listen to this, they're booing the hell out of Jordan Walker, and all it did was piss him off and motivate him.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:21)
They're still booing you. What's it like to have 40,000 people boo you?

**Jordan Walker** (2:25)
I was once told you don't boo nobody, so it feels pretty good. It's everything, in all honesty. I was that kid in that backyard watching, and I wanted to be a home run derby champion, so it's pretty nice, and my dream came true today.

**Hammer** (2:37)
They don't boo nobodies, and he's right.

**Nigel** (2:40)
They don't boo nobodies.
That was fun to watch, and the people there in Philly looked like they were having a blast. And that was a Schwabber, or was it that Walker dude? Somebody was hitting them up like scoreboard, like hitting like the upper deck, like the fourth level, at the very top of the Jumbotron.

**Hammer** (3:01)
Schwabber hit some moonshots. Camerio hit some moonshots.

**Nigel** (3:04)
That's what I'm thinking of.

**Hammer** (3:06)
It was good. Now, I didn't like the broadcast on Netflix, per se.

**Nigel** (3:11)
Oh, yeah, it was on Netflix.

**Hammer** (3:12)
I wish they would just make Chris Berman like the permanent host of the Home Run Derby. He deserves it. All right. Top stories next.
