Okay, so now I have all the time after this. Whatever. Now I have all the time after I get my car. Okay, so let me tell you this story about this. I was in Atlanta watching a soccer game, and when I walked out, I saw a Maybach truck, I was like, yo, I'm gonna buy this. And I said, you know what? No, I'm not gonna buy this. I'm gonna run for office. So I spent the money that I was gonna spend on Maybach to run for office. And so now that I'm in office and working hard, I am rewarding myself with a Maybach.

But can I just tell you the real story behind it? So I was in Atlanta with a friend of mine, Catherine Brewton, we're at a soccer game.
I leave the soccer game.
I've never thought I want to have a Rolls Royce and I want to have a Maybach or nothing like that. But I walked out, I saw this Maybach truck, I was like, yo, I need to buy this truck. And I looked at the sticker price and all that, I'm like, okay, I could get it.
And then I got a text message about something back home. I'm like, you know what? Fuck that, I'm going to run for office. I'm going to take the money I would spend on a Maybach and I'm going to put it in my own campaign and I'm going to run for office. I swear to God, I thought that. And then now that I ran for office, I've won and I'm having so much success. I'm like, you know what? Now I'm going to just go buy the truck that I wanted. Cause life is about balance. We were just talking off camera about golfing and stuff like that. I'm still trying to find the balance of it all. Where yes, I am the vice mayor of Stockton. Yes, I am involved in dealing with everything from mass shootings to homelessness to public safety and all that. But I'm also Jason Lee from Hollywood Unlocked who dug himself out the mud and became everything he wanted to be in spite of life. So I'm going to reward myself and not be guilted into this oath of poverty people expect me to take being an elected official. These elected officials that are using taxpayer dollars to do stuff, I'm not doing that. This is my money. This is my hard earned money.
