Hammer (0:00)

The Hammer and Nigel Presents is the Sun.

Danielle (0:06)

It depends upon what the meaning of the word is.

Hammer (0:11)

Is this anything?

Allison (0:13)

All right, let's rock and roll.

Hammer (0:14)

Oh yeah, we're brought to you by Indiana Unclaimed, a program presented by the Attorney General's Office here in Indiana, reuniting Hoosiers with over $1 million in unclaimed property every single week. Fast, easy, and free to search.

See if you got any money floating around out there. Just put your name in, put your relatives name in, put your friends name in, indianunclaimed.gov.

Nigel (0:39)

I always put my own name in there just hoping somebody would find money of mine. Hasn't happened yet, but I keep trying.

Hammer (0:46)

But have you found any money? Not for me.

Nigel (0:50)

Not for me.

Hammer (0:50)

I found a few hundred bucks.

Nigel (0:52)

My grandparents have money in there. Now they are no longer with us.

But me trying to explain to my parents how to go online and get the money.

I feel like this is how Elon Musk would explain how to get a rocket to land in the middle of the ocean to somebody else.

Hammer (1:10)

First of all, we have Rakita's personal number.

Nigel (1:15)

Yes.

Hammer (1:16)

Rakita could take care of it. Have him get on the computer.

Nigel (1:19)

I'm not going to text a personal favor because my mom and dad hate the Internet. I'm not calling it a favor.

Hammer (1:25)

You're telling me the Attorney General is not going to look at that favorably. I think he'd do it for you. He likes us.

Nigel (1:31)

I think he does, but I want to bank my favor for maybe a little bit later on.

Hammer (1:36)

OK, in case you get in trouble.

Nigel (1:37)

Hey, Todd, look, my mom hates technology. She she's scared of the Internet. She hates, you know, my kids have to come by and fix the TV and the remotes when something gets squirrely.

Hammer (1:49)

I know you're the Attorney General. Can you just type her name in and get the check sent out to her, please?

Nigel (1:56)

Mr. Hammer, I'm currently working on a major lawsuit against Metta for the state of Indiana. I know, I know, but it would mean a lot to my mom.

She's got 25 bucks from the bank back in the day.

Hammer (2:07)

Maybe you're right.

Nigel (2:09)

Is this anything? A Long Island woman fell eight feet into the ground because of some random sinkhole that was in her backyard. She's happened to be on her birthday.

She couldn't climb out, but neighbors heard her screams, and they called 911

Here's the birthday girl, Danielle.

Danielle (2:28)

Just like walking the ground, just went, and I was in a hole. Help! Help!

People suffocate and they die, so I thought that first.

Allison (2:38)

It's my birthday. This might be my death date.

Danielle (2:41)

Couldn't breathe well because I was like gasping and scared and crying.

Allison (2:44)

Oh my God, she fell on the ground. Okay, we're on the phone.

Danielle (2:50)

Firemen, cops, special unit cops, ambulance, EMTs, they were wonderful. They all sung happy birthday to me. It was great.

Hammer (2:57)

Tomorrow is promised to nobody, ladies. So a sinkhole in their 47th birthday. Welcome to life.

Nigel (3:06)

Allison, on the Home and Garden show, has anybody ever called in on how to fix a sinkhole in their backyard? Has that has that been called in?

Allison (3:15)

Luckily, it has not, but my advice would be just to move.

Nigel (3:17)

Move.

Hammer (3:18)

How do you fix a sinkhole?

Nigel (3:21)

Hey, Pat and Denny, long time listener, first time. Allison, I love you on the show. Hey, I got a big-ass sinkhole in my backyard. Pat, what do you think I should do?

Hammer (3:30)

I would be screwed. That would be my luck. On my birthday, I would fall in a sinkhole in my backyard.

Nigel (3:37)

You survive all these years without getting mauled by a tiger or bear at your mailbox.

Hammer (3:42)

That's right.

Nigel (3:43)

And it's a sinkhole in your backyard that brings you down.

Allison, this weekend on Home and Garden Show, I want this addressed. How to fix a sinkhole in our backyard? I want Pat and Denny to put their brains together and get an answer for us.

Allison (3:56)

Oh, I'm sure they'll give you an answer. I don't know if it'll be a smart-ass one or not, but.

Hammer (4:00)

I'll work on it. Are you in Atlanta, Indiana?

Allison (4:03)

Yeah, we're doing a little road trip this weekend to the biggest earth festival in, I think, Hamilton County.
