That's a tough problem, but we'll start with the second question.

Oh, Jason, okay, go ahead.

You just go to the Apple Store, you give them $200, they will give you one and you take it to your parents' house and you just take it.

**Stephen Robles** (1:35)
This is how you do it. He's trying to convince his parents to be the buying of that equation.

**Jason Aten** (1:39)
You say to your parents, give me $200, and then you go to the Apple Store and you give that. Like seriously, do you just have to do this for them?

Listen, if your parents and your house has a Roku box, and Roku was just purchased by, was it Wal-Mart or something? Roku was just bought by somebody, they're going to put a bunch of ads in there.

**Jason Aten** (1:54)
Aldi, I guess.

**Stephen Robles** (1:55)
Yeah, once you see a bunch of ads in there, maybe that will help convince you. But listen, maybe wait, because one of the rumors we'll talk about later is Apple is ready to unleash a bunch of home products and the new Apple TV might be one of them. So maybe hold on.
And Apple TV is not in the leasing program, unfortunately, so you're going to have to pay full price for the Apple TV. But also what podcast app do you use? Podcast 728 was wondering.

OK, I use Pocket Casts.

Use Pocket Casts. And they actually are going to support video very soon. HLS video is coming, which is pretty cool. And they have an Apple TV app now. I don't know if you saw that. You can download a podcast on the TV.
And you'll be able to watch it on the TV very soon. That's cool.

I do sometimes use the Podcasts app. There is a weird thing that happens with mostly the Mr. Teckery related podcasts where sometimes they don't, for some reason, update in one of my podcast apps. So I have to switch. I don't know. It's weird. I've emailed Ben Thompson about it. It's probably my fault, but I just go back and forth if I have to.

I've been, there was actually some people talking about this on Mastodon, how third party podcast apps are kind of petering out. Like there's not much growth in user base for third party podcast apps.
One, because I think a lot of the video and newest features have been in Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts. So people are maybe be like going back to those ones. Plus they're the stock apps. And I think like for younger people, like I see this in my own kids behavior. My son just uses the Spotify app because podcasts and music were there and so he's just using it. And so one, it's unfortunate because I love third party podcast apps and I've been doing a little bit of research. I finally got access to the Mac power users numbers. And I won't give a bunch of details, but I looked at the apps most used.
