Happy New Year, Becca.

Francesca Levy (0:06)

Happy New Year, Francesca.

Rebecca Greenfield (0:09)

New Year knew us, right?

Francesca Levy (0:12)

Um, yeah, yeah.

Rebecca Greenfield (0:14)

What are your New Year's resolutions this year?

Francesca Levy (0:17)

I would like to be better at my job and my life without actually having to do anything at all to achieve any of my goals.

Rebecca Greenfield (0:25)

That seems unreasonable.

Francesca Levy (0:27)

I know.

I'm just being honest with you. What about you? What are your New Year's resolutions?

Rebecca Greenfield (0:32)

Honestly, I feel the same as you. I'm confident that I can be 100% better in every way, but I have absolutely no plan to do that.

Francesca Levy (0:40)

But all that changes right now, we're gonna do better. It's a new year, and we're gonna actually try to change our lives with a podcast. A podcast.

I'm Francesca Levy, and I'm Rebecca Greenfield.

Rebecca Greenfield (1:03)

On our new show, Works For Me, we're going to attempt to fix all of our flaws using the productivity tips and tricks that people claim really, truly work.

Francesca Levy (1:13)

This is how the show's gonna work.

Each week, one of us will present a common, yet persistent workplace problem that we're having. Like me, I cannot focus on a given task for the life of me.

Rebecca Greenfield (1:25)

Or me, I'm terrible at being a human being in the morning.

But, we're not just going to complain about our problems, we're actually gonna try to fix them. There's a whole world of productivity, ideas, and products out there promising to make us better. And we're gonna try them out on our problems and tell you how it goes.

Francesca Levy (1:43)

And maybe some of them will also work for you. I don't know about you, but I'm excited to be my best self.

Rebecca Greenfield (1:51)

I'm sure everything will go smoothly.

Francesca Levy (1:54)

I'm really messing up. Basically like I'm getting black pen places it shouldn't be.

SPEAKER_3 (2:00)

I did press news a couple times. It's just so hard to think about what happens after you get out of bed when you're still in bed.

Francesca Levy (2:10)

Okay, I guess that's wishful thinking.

Rebecca Greenfield (2:13)
