Hey there, it's Tracy Alloway.

Joe Weisenthal (0:02)

And Joe Weisenthal.

Tracy Alloway (0:03)

We are the co-hosts of the Odd Lots Podcast, and we want to share the trailer for a new podcast right here at Bloomberg that we are very excited about, Money Stuff, the podcast.

Joe Weisenthal (0:13)

That's right. Friend of the pod, Matt Levine is teaming up with our other friend in Bloomberg TV, host Katie Greifeld to bring the Money Stuff newsletter to life.

It's going to be great. Here's the trailer.

Katie Greifeld (0:27)

So, Matt, you write a newsletter. It's called Money Stuff.

You've been doing it for a while.

Matt Levine (0:32)

Almost 10 years, something like 10 years.

Katie Greifeld (0:34)

It's pretty amazing that you don't have a podcast yet.

Matt Levine (0:37)

You know, it is weird that I haven't had a podcast. People frequently say to me, you know, I enjoy your newsletter, but I'd like to hear you say it into my ear.

And I say, that would take a long time. But what we could do instead is I could chat about my newsletter with my good friend, Katie.

Katie Greifeld (0:53)

That's so incredible because when I meet people, they ask me, do you know Matt Levine? And now I can just direct them to this podcast.

Matt Levine (1:00)

It's true. It's proof that we know each other.

Katie Greifeld (1:03)

When it comes to Money Stuff, you write about a range of topics. What range of topics might we expect in the podcast version?

Matt Levine (1:10)

A smaller range. Right.

Katie Greifeld (1:13)

We only have 30 minutes.

Matt Levine (1:15)

And in that time, we will talk about weird stories from the world of finance that somehow illuminate or say something interesting about how finance works. You know, like Money Stuff.

Katie Greifeld (1:24)

All the Money Stuff.

Matt Levine (1:25)

All the stuff.

Katie Greifeld (1:25)

Yeah. We will be talking about ETFs, the world of investing. That's what I like to talk about. We'll probably talk about horses and dressage a fair amount.

Matt Levine (1:35)

Horses and dressage will come up more here than they do in the Money Stuff newsletter. And we'll talk to people. Maybe we'll have some guests on and we'll answer some reader questions if you have any.

Katie Greifeld (1:43)

Yeah, we'll get weird.

Matt Levine (1:44)

We'll get weird.

We'll chat about financial news. Katie, I think it'll be fun.

Katie Greifeld (1:48)

I think it will be fun.

Matt Levine (1:49)

I'm Matt Levine, the Money Stuff columnist at Bloomberg Opinion.

Katie Greifeld (1:53)

And I'm Katie Greifeld. I'm a reporter and an anchor with Bloomberg News. Matt, where can people listen to the Money Stuff podcast?

Matt Levine (1:59)

You can listen to the Money Stuff podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Katie Greifeld (2:04)

The freedom of choice.

Matt Levine (2:06)

I think we've successfully executed our trailer.
