Yeah, I mean, 2030 is a really far away time.

It's not a real year.

But the idea of Starcraft coming back into our lives, the idea that it's not an RTS, right? Like I love RTSs, but I don't think a lot of people do. So the idea of like being able to jump into an open world shooter, somehow create that with Starcraft is going to be really, really dope. Your imagination run wild on what it could be. Is it a Destiny Looter shooter? Is it an open world like a Far Cry or any one of these other Rainbow Six Wildland?

You even dream by Far Cry guy, right?

Yeah. And so, hey, yeah, yeah. And so we'll see how it goes. How much fun is that? Also, what are the other groups in there? Right? We saw the Zerg.

Maybe there's going to be more. Hey, you know what I mean? So I'm very excited to check it all out. That one's a high on my list.

Just the people smiling, the cosplay, the employment of BlizzCon. Like BlizzCon is a really special place. And as someone who loves and appreciate all things, Blizzard Entertainment and those games, being swept up in the worlds and the community, that was really special to me.

It's time for some news. We have six stories today. Baker's Dozen.

Starting with our number one, a very sad story that, of course, went up yesterday, right? Broke yesterday.

I want to bring to the stage the one and only Greg Miller, who has experience with IGN, because we're talking about the IGN layoffs that happened. Me and you, Mike, of course, we came up as fans of IGN. Greg Miller actually worked at IGN and knows Brian Altano personally. I know we all know Brian Altano, but Greg has more of a history with it, so he can speak to it with more authority and more about IGN in terms of somebody who's actually been there. Before we talk to Greg about it, though, let me read the story. IGN, and this is from Ethan Gach at Kotaku. IGN's summer of gaming has become another summer of layoffs. Sources tell Kotaku that the top video game website is cutting loose even more of its top talent, including some of its most public faces like longtime video host Seth Macy and Brian Altano. They and others impacted have since confirmed the news. The latter has worked at IGN since 2009 and has been one of the main hosts of its popular PlayStation podcast Beyond since the departures of Kinda Funny's Greg Miller and Last Stand's Colin Moriarty more than a decade ago.
