So, Molly, I will be straight with you. One of the most bougie things about me is I have a great relationship with my steakhouse purveyor, and we often talk, and he tells me about beef prices. So they have repeatedly apologized to their customers because beef is at an all-time high in price because of many factors such as this high gas and other things. But they looked me in the eye last week and said, you have no idea what's coming if this screw worm thing happens, how bad this is going to be for people like us.

So in our next episode, not this episode, but the episode next, you're going to hear all about screw worms and how hard it is to get rid of them, and the many things in the 1950s that our government did to get rid of screw worms. All I can say about screw worms is this, as someone who has recently googled them, this is my knowledge of screw worms. Here's the deal, screw worms are tiny parasites that burrow into your skin. You know how you know you've been infected by screw worms?

Elon Musk, it's his fault. Now, actually, the person we interviewed says it's maybe not totally Elon Musk's fault about screw worms. Either way, he did not help. And Roger Marshall from Kansas told Newsmax that it's yet another thing we can thank Joe Biden for.
That is absolutely not true. I mean, so he's saying that people from Central America brought up cattle that was infected. And that may or may not be true, but that's not Joe Biden's fault. The government programs that monitored screw worms were cut. And that is Elon Musk's fault. So if we're going to blame anyone, we're going to blame the richest man in the world, soon to be trillionaire, father of many, friend of few.

How about his buddy, RFK Jr.?

**Molly Jong-Fast** (2:49)
Oh, yeah, and RFK Jr. So I blame both RFK Jr. and Donald Trump, and, and, and.

**Jesse Cannon** (2:58)
Not good. And the price of beef is already at a record high. So we're just, we're going to see the American people not happy. Okay, we need to go over to California. Every one of the stupidest people you could find online has now decided they are vote counting experts and have really been paying attention since California has taken forever to count for literally as long as I can remember you and I watching elections. We are quite old at this point. And what we're now seeing, though, is that Trump and his friends are trying to find that they are there and they cannot find voter fraud.

Yeah, I want to remind people this is California. It is a D plus 50 Okay. This is like, why didn't Curtis Sliwa win mayor of New York City? It's really exactly the same. And in fact, it's not like this guy, Spencer Pratt, spent months or years canvassing. It's not like he had a relationship with the community. He lived in the Bel Air Hotel. He lied and said he lived in his trailer. He ran on the idea that he was going to stop forest fires from happening. I don't know how he was going to do that. I mean, that's the other thing. The whole thing was like cooked up in the most reality television way. He was going to prevent forest fires. He was going to create a world where there weren't forest fires in LA.
How are you going to do that? By what? I mean, that's the thing. But more importantly, it's a very democratic city. It's a lot of democratic voters and the way California works is that it takes them forever to count votes. The votes that come in last are the most progressive, usually, and the most blue, and they came in and they knocked that guy out of contention, that dumb Spencer Pratt. But you know who they didn't knock out of contention? Steve Hilton.
