You're listening to the 6 Figure Home Studio Podcast, the number one resource for running a profitable home recording studio. Now your hosts, Brian Hood and Chris Graham.

Brian Hood (0:16)

Welcome back to another episode of the 6 Figure Home Studio Podcast.

As you heard in the intro, I am your host, Brian Hood.

And I'm here with my bald, beautiful, gray-shirted sweatshirt co-host.

Christopher J. Graham (0:28)

There's a purple shirt underneath. It's a sweatshirt. It's still on. I'm on brand.

Brian Hood (0:32)

You know what? I actually have the purple shirt on today. I have a file pass shirt on today.

I'm with my co-host, Christopher J. Graham. How are you doing today, my friend?

Christopher J. Graham (0:39)

I'm great, Brian. How are you? I'm not going to say anything else until you tell me how you are.

Brian Hood (0:44)

I'm good because we leave for Winter NAMM, which actually happened last week as of the time this episode airs.

But we leave in about a week, a week from today, actually. We will be at NAMM.

Christopher J. Graham (0:56)

By the time this episode comes out and you're listening to it, we're going to have a lot more friends. It's going to be really fun.

Brian Hood (1:03)

If you don't go to NAMM every year, you are missing out on some of the best hangs of like any event. And I've been to a lot of conferences in the world, but something about NAMM, Winter NAMM, not summer, summer's trash, even though it's like two blocks from where I live.

Winter NAMM, there's a magic to it. And it's probably because it's a stone's throw from Disney World, or is it Disneyland? I don't remember the...

Christopher J. Graham (1:23)

Disneyland, I believe.

Brian Hood (1:26)

Ah, it doesn't matter. One of the Disney's. That's why it's so magical. All the magic wafts over from Disneyland over to NAMM.

Christopher J. Graham (1:31)

There's a lot of wafting. I remember last year.

Brian Hood (1:34)

There's a lot of wafting from...

Christopher J. Graham (1:35)

There was so much wafting. It was like, no one smokes cigarettes here, but they're smoking.

Brian Hood (1:40)

They're smoking something. So how are you doing, my friend, now that I answered your question?

Christopher J. Graham (1:46)

I'm so good and so pumped about NAMM. I am freaking ecstatically excited to get on a jet plane and go hang out with you, man. It's gonna be great.

Brian Hood (1:57)

Well, I like to take this moment to shout out our sponsor, LaCroix.

Christopher J. Graham (2:02)

Oh, I've only got off-brand bubbly sparkling water.

Brian Hood (2:08)

God, that's awful.

Christopher J. Graham (2:09)

Is this Trader Joe's?

Brian Hood (2:11)

No, that's the Publix brand.

No, Target. That's Target, I think.

Christopher J. Graham (2:14)

It's Target brand.

Brian Hood (2:15)

Doesn't matter because we're not actually sponsored by any of these people.

Christopher J. Graham (2:19)

Unless they gave us some stock in their company, I don't think we would ever be.

Brian Hood (2:23)

Yeah, I do want to shout out the shirt that I'm wearing right now. filepass.com. I just got the shirts in for NAMM so I can wear it. Hopefully, you saw me at NAMM with this if you went there.

It just says Filepass at the front. It says File Sharing for Recording Studios on the front, but on the back, it says Death to Dropbox. We transfer and Google Drive.

Christopher J. Graham (2:41)

I love it. I'm super pumped. We're going to be the we're going to be purple shirted. So if you see someone wearing purple, if you saw someone wearing purple at NAMM, it was us.

Brian Hood (2:49)

There's not many people wearing purple, to be honest. It was just Chris and I.

Christopher J. Graham (2:53)

Yeah, it's as if that had something to do with my decision to make purple shirts part of my personal brand.

Brian Hood (2:59)

You're easy to spot in a crowd unless you're wearing that stupid gray sweatshirt overhead. I actually also have purple shirted or purple hoodies, which you can have one of them, maybe.

Christopher J. Graham (3:07)

Oh, I'm down. I could definitely use more hoodies.

Brian Hood (3:09)

Yep, it's purple.

Christopher J. Graham (3:10)

I have trouble with hoodies because I love them.

And this is going to be so weird. You know what one of my favorite things in the entire world is French Terry hoodies. And I'm a big fan.

Brian Hood (3:18)

What is that even?

Christopher J. Graham (3:19)

French Terry is like, it's like a towel on the inside.
