Never could you ever imagine a larger disconnect between what constitutes news and what is now the lead of news. It is fundamentally and completely broken in so many ways. So we wanted to get into the Cornell thing.
Comfortably Smug (0:16)
Not of a match to AOC, because she sees this as an opportunity to politically benefit herself.

Washington politicians are always getting in your wallet. Now they're messing with your credit card. Your credit card and the security it offers are under attack.
The Durbin Marshall credit card bill would change the nation's payment system to benefit corporate megastores like Walmart and Target at the expense of everyday Americans.
Credit cards keep your payments secure and provide rewards that families use to help make everyday purchases more affordable. The Durbin Marshall mandates would let corporate megastores cut corners on credit card processing, routing transactions over cheaper, untested networks with weaker security and fewer protections. That means higher risk of fraud, greater chance of stolen personal data, and the loss of rewards programs, just so corporate megastores can pocket billions of dollars and higher profits. Tell Congress to guard your card. Visit guardyourcard.com to take action and learn more.

The midterm elections are here.
If DSA Democrats win, they'll push a radical socialist agenda and drown President Trump in endless investigations. We've seen their playbook before. They tried impeaching him. They tried putting him in prison. They've tried everything.
Don't let them win. Because if we lose, they'll undo everything our movement has fought for. I need you to vote early. You can bank your vote and fight back against the left's turnout machine. Go to gopvotes.org right now and find out where you can vote. If you live in critical Senate battleground states of Maine or Ohio, early voting is already underway starting this week. Making your voice heard is easier than ever. You can get election reminders, look up your polling location, and pick a date to vote early. Go to gopvotes.org today.

But there's a whole bunch of atmospherics that sort of affect the way that people view the world, the way that they view their vote, society, cultural stuff. We are a month away from national elections in this country. We are a country at war. We are a country with significant economic news, concerns, thoughts.
We have suburban areas in this city or in this country who are being shot up by Somali gangs each and every night. So what is it that your evening news broadcasts are covering? That's interesting, right? It's a dynamic time. Lot to cover there. What are they working on? Let's go to the first clip.
