I think government is always the problem and never the solution. I think ultimately, if we want to fix things, we have to fix things in our own communities, in our own homes. Again, it's personal responsibility and individualism. That will be antidote to groupthink and collective grievances. Gen Zers are officially dumber than previous generations. If you make sure that your kids don't spend time on phones and on screens, they will actually learn how to read. Any technology throughout the centuries, it really depends on how to use it. You can use it for good and you can use it for evil. You can use it to make you stronger and more capable, or you can use it in a way that is just going to self-destruct.

Okay, guys, here at FreedomFest with one of the speakers, we got Marissa back on the show. How you been?

**Marissa Streit** (0:47)
Thank God, it's been crazy.

**Sean Kelly** (0:49)
Yeah, it's been nuts. Trial is going on right now.
We're in a crazy world right now. But what you been up to since we last saw each other?

**Marissa Streit** (0:56)
Well, Dennis was injured, Dennis Prager fell down, and so I had to step into much of the public life of PragerU, so that's been busy. PragerU is growing like crazy because many of the parents are waking up and realizing that the onslaught against our kids is real.
So we have grown tremendously. The team has grown, our audience has grown. There's just been a lot going on, and I think also what has grown is confusion, chaos and confusion. So PragerU has really become this anchor for many people who don't understand what is going on in our education and our culture, and the truth is, I guess we've been made for a time as this.

**Sean Kelly** (1:36)
Yeah, the confusion's been nuts because of social media, right?

**Marissa Streit** (1:40)
And it's going to get worse with AI, right? So we see all the deep things.

**Sean Kelly** (1:43)
In business, I'm always trying to get the best outcome for the best price. So it's kind of crazy. I haven't looked at my life insurance in years. I don't even know if what I'm paying is competitive or if I have enough coverage with how things have changed. That's why I started looking into Select Quote. For over 40 years, they've helped more than 2 million Americans secure over $700 billion in coverage. Their whole model is simple. They shop around to find you the right policy for your specific needs so you're not overpaying or undercover. Their licensed agents work for you in as little as 15 minutes. They compare policies from top-rated carriers to find something that fits your health and your budget, and they do it for free. No medical exam, no problem. You could get same-day coverage up to $2 million, and if you've got pre-existing conditions, they've got options for that too. And we see just people incentivize to make up stuff, and just say crazy things in order to get views and clicks and shticks, and so there's just so much chaos, especially for young people who don't know how to discern what's true.

**Sean Kelly** (2:54)
You need really good guidance these days, because when I was a kid, the technology just started coming. I got a phone in high school, so I kind of still had a childhood. But now kids are getting phones in what, elementary school probably, if I'd guess.

**Marissa Streit** (3:07)
Yeah, and you get this steady diet of confusion, it causes a lot of despair too, right? It just, kids are lonely. I actually just read this, I just read that 30% of Gen Zers have reported that they don't have one single friend. 30% of Gen Zers and not one single friend. Can you imagine that kind of lonely existence? So they spend all this time on the Internet, consuming all fear, conspiracy and despair.
These are tough times. These are really tough times for young people.

**Sean Kelly** (3:39)
Yeah, the AI supporting your claims. Yeah, 60%. Wow.

**Marissa Streit** (3:43)
Are you checking me? You're fact checking me?

**Sean Kelly** (3:44)
It fact checks. 39% of Gen Zers have reported feeling lonely.

**Marissa Streit** (3:48)
Yeah.

**Sean Kelly** (3:49)
Kids are lonely. 40% in the UK have reported feeling lonely. Geez, that's a lot.

**Marissa Streit** (3:54)
Yeah.

**Sean Kelly** (3:54)
As a kid too. As a kid, you're supposed to be around other kids.
