Oh, that is a perfect analogy. You are essentially paying a heavy tax just to access the basic tools of your trade.

It creates a severe disadvantage. The larger players benefit from economies of scale that startups simply cannot access.
And this is where FM Technologies is attempting to step in and act as a structural equalizer.

So how does that actually work mechanically?

Well, the mechanics of the agreement involve Firmus purchasing a massive volume of Nvidia AI infrastructure outright. But rather than utilizing this hardware to train their own proprietary models, Firmus is deploying it to offer Nvidia-powered cloud services directly to AI native customers and startups at a much more affordable rate.

Oh, absolutely. I mean, if Firmus is just acting as a really well-funded middleman, funneling startups into an exclusively Nvidia-powered ecosystem, that doesn't necessarily dismantle a monopoly.

Right. It just provides a highly efficient distribution channel for Nvidia to cement its hardware as the inescapable industry standard.

Yeah. That tension between industry philosophy and pragmatic survival is critical here. Entrenching a single hardware provider deeper into the startup ecosystem does carry huge long-term risks regarding vendor lock-in.

But I guess if you're a startup founder, you might not care about the philosophy.

**Sophia** (4:12)
You don't. From the perspective of a founder managing a tight burn rate, the philosophical debate takes a backseat to immediate operational needs. Yeah.
