Welcome in Hoge & Jahns.
Back with you for our first post-game episode of the season presented by Old National Bank. Every play matters whether it's on the field or in your financial life. The best teams win by delivering excellence at every level. Old National Bank where relationships and results matter. Remember FDIC. Coming to you live on YouTube on a Monday morning, a Victory Monday for the Chicago Bears. Adam Hoge and Adam Jahns with the Jhansi still in North Carolina about to head back from the Bears win. Jhansi, how are we doing?
Adam Jahns (1:19)
I am good. This, that stadium by the time I left it, it not only did it feel empty because of all the Panthers fans that had left, but it was just all the Bears fans and their orange and their their Navy blue and not that Carolina blue.
It was good to see if you're the Chicago Bears. Absolutely.
Adam Hoge (1:37)
Yeah, the last touchdown that Deandre Smith scored the long the long run, I noticed when I was rewatching it that first of all, I don't understand the endzone sweet thing, like those field level seats down there. I don't know how you see anything. But I guess if you happen to be one of the five fans left down there late in the game and you're all Bears fans and then Deandre Swift comes running right at you and waving the football at you, that's got to be a pretty cool moment. Probably worth the money on that alone. But yeah, I noticed that there's basically just like five Bears fans left in that end zone. Everybody else was gone.
Adam Jahns (2:12)
Well, early fourth quarter, the Panthers fans started to leave in mass and you saw the Bears fans move in mass closer and closer and closer to the field to see their favorite team.
Adam Hoge (2:25)
The Bears fans always showing out and they will continue to do so this season, which is a good opportunity for me here to remind you that we have two trips planned this season and they're going to be a lot of fun. The first one's coming up in Green Bay. You got a lot of different options. We have a bus that's going up there.
We have a tailgate. If you want to just go up there on your own, we're going to have a massive Bears tailgate up there. We can't let the Packer fans just kind of take over the whole area around Lambeau. So you guys can help mark the Bears territory, for lack of a better phrase there. It's going to be a lot of fun. And honestly, even if you don't have a ticket to the game, because the tickets are pretty expensive, just come up and enjoy the atmosphere outside the stadium. There's an awesome bar right there where the tailgate is that you can sit and watch the game there as well. So it's going to be a great time. And we're going to Miami later in the season as well in December. And I don't need to explain to you why you need to go to Miami in December. That speaks for itself. So come with us. It'll be a great time.
Adam Jahns (3:21)
Yeah, the Bears game is like a bonus.
Adam Hoge (3:23)
Yeah.
Adam Jahns (3:24)
It's just the excuse you need. So hop aboard.
Adam Hoge (3:26)
And if they're scoring 59 points on the Carolina Panthers, I think they'll score 159 on the Miami Dolphins.
Adam Jahns (3:32)
You say 159?
Adam Hoge (3:34)
Yeah, 159
Adam Jahns (3:35)
Okay, at least 60, come on.
Adam Hoge (3:39)
60 is on the table at some point this season after what we saw yesterday, which is a good way for us to jump into the show. Again, appreciate everybody being here live. Hit the like button for us. We are going to be here after the morning, after every game this season. That's how we do it here on Hoge & Jahns. We're back into our three episodes per week cadence. So you'll get this one on Mondays, Wednesday, midweek episode, a little bit more big picture look at everything going on. And then on Fridays, we preview the upcoming game. And of course, we'll do that this Friday with the Vikings, the 1-0 Minnesota Vikings after beating the Packers yesterday, coming to town next Sunday. First NFC North game of the season. But for now, we're going to talk Bears and Panthers. We'll get into it with our big takeaways presented by Xfinity. Imagine that. And Jahns, let you go first here.
