When that monkey screeches, I feel alive inside. Monkey pox update, okay. The reason I say this is a happy update, because this story is hilarious. Because it's something any one of us could do because we've all made typos before. I've told you my story about the grandfather clock situation. I forgot the L, right? Is that when you were typing something in the internet? Yes, I was working at the casino. Oh, that's right. And I was looking for grandfather clocks because we were going to set up an elaborate, you know, time type of theme. Sure. And I typed into Google on my work issued computer, grandfather clocks. Yes. But I didn't type the L in and something else was entered. And next thing you know, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing. Like, oh my goodness, you should have seen the things on my computer. I had to go to the IT guys. And once they stopped laughing, they helped me out. This prominent medical writer, right? Some dude that writes in all these high-profile medical journals had an unfortunate typo when he was talking about monkeypox recently. No, you're kidding. He put it on Twitter. The monkeypox outbreak is occurring almost entirely among men who have sex with me.
He meant to write men sex with men, but he said sex with me. I am the host. I am patient zero for monkeypox.
Yes, it was supposed to be the monkeypox outbreak is occurring almost entirely among men who have sex with men. But he forgot the end and he's blaming himself for the entire monkeypox outbreak. That's a shame. He ultimately did edit the tweet, but it was too late. Everybody had screenshot it and shared it, and they were blaming him for the outbreak. And that's an unfortunate update in monkeypox.
