Hammer and Nigel.

**Hammer** (0:16)
Hey!

**Nigel** (0:19)
There it is, the Hammer Nigel Show. Hammer's back from Ireland. The two-week odyssey. How was it, man? Like, overall big picture, would you do it again?
And just tell me about how pure and the Guinness was there.

**Hammer** (0:34)
Oh, Guinness.

**Nigel** (0:37)
Just pure, and they spin it in the kegs, and they know how to pour it, right?

**Hammer** (0:41)
So I went to the brewery. Like, I went to the actual brewery, took the tour.

**Nigel** (0:45)
Bastard.

**Hammer** (0:46)
Like, I got to be honest, I'm not a huge Guinness guy. But when in Rome, right? So I'm in Ireland, and it just hits different. It tastes more fresh. It tastes more clean for all. Oh, more frothy.
It was so good. Like, I'm craving a Guinness now.
Like, they got me hooked on it. And God bless them. But the tour guide that we had was awesome. It was a dude named Liam. Right.

**Nigel** (1:13)
And he kind of looked like Matt Bear.

**Hammer** (1:15)
He's like an older Matt Bear. He did. And Nigel, I think for the most part, you and I could hold our own in a good old fashioned game of drink.

**Nigel** (1:24)
Maybe.

**Hammer** (1:25)
But Liam, Liam went hard in the paint.

**Nigel** (1:29)
Like this is the tour guide.

**Hammer** (1:30)
Oh, yeah.

**Nigel** (1:31)
This is the guy that was getting paid to take you guys around. And he would drink with you.

**Hammer** (1:35)
He's not driving the bus. There was a driver.

**Nigel** (1:36)
I understand.

**Hammer** (1:37)
But yeah, like we would stop somewhere. All right. We're going to stop here at the pub. And he would pound like two to four beers.
All right. We're going to stop around here. Stop, pounds, two to four beers. I mean, and he was just loaded with history.
He told me exactly what to call Joe Hogsett so I wouldn't get in trouble. Unshaska.

**Nigel** (1:59)
So you're going to have to tell me that off the ear.

**Hammer** (2:01)
That's Irish slang. You can't even hardly look it up, but it has something to do with excrement and a head. That's all I can say.
But Liam was awesome. Ireland is so beautiful, Nigel. I mean, the landscape, the pictures, the man, the hills overlooking the water. Oh, the booze. What if I told you that, and I told you this last week when I called in the one hammer mail to be asked, you know, for help leaving a bar was Jacob Hammer, your youngest, the 18 year old.

**Nigel** (2:33)
I'm impressed. It looked like he was enjoying. It looked like he was discovering some new things in life.

**Hammer** (2:38)
Oh, man, he he was on a heater over there because you could drink over there at 18

**Nigel** (2:43)
What was the Jameson distillery distillery like?

**Hammer** (2:47)
I didn't go to Jameson.

**Nigel** (2:48)
You didn't go to Jameson.

**Hammer** (2:49)
I went to another one, and I may have brought some spirits back.
And we'll be sampling some of those throughout the week, maybe even a little bit later on in the show. But I will say this. It's beautiful country. The people are awesome. If you go visit, don't take American Airlines. Sweet mother of all that's pure. I can't stand these people.

**Nigel** (3:14)
You have some horror stories to end from, right?

**Hammer** (3:18)
Dude, I'm the kind of guy that if I can fly Southwest or Allegiant on the cheap, I'll do it. I just want to get from A to B.
But it's been American Airlines that's always been the biggest pain in my taint, whether it's delays or cancellations or being lied to.
So leaving Indy, we go to Charlotte, Charlotte to Dublin. That's the connection, right? So we get to Charlotte. There's a delay. There's another delay. We have multiple people in our group. They go up to the counter. Each person's getting a different excuse. So they're clearly lying to us. Those weasels from American Airlines clearly lying to us.

**Nigel** (3:54)
Right.

**Hammer** (3:55)
They drag it out. They cancel the flight until the next day. Oh, you lost an entire day, day and a half, because it wasn't leaving until the evening the next day. And then we got on that plane and it was delayed. The hotel they put us in to stay overnight was a dump. We didn't get into four thirty in the morning. I can't say enough mean things about American Airlines. If American Airlines were a football team, they'd be the Cleveland Browns. If American Airlines were a radio host, they'd probably be careful.
