Hammer, tell me what you think of this one. This is interesting.
Indiana lawmakers are some of the members of the US. Congress here, like I'm talking Sparks, Houchin, Stutzman. They're among the members of the US. Congress to demand accountability from WNBA commissioners and multiple attacks against Caitlin Clark, the WNBA commissioner, of course, being, what's it, Engelbert?

Just call her Captain Moron. Captain Moron works fine.

**Nigel** (0:42)
Oh my goodness.

**Hammer** (0:43)
Look, there's no worse ran organization than the WNBA.
Now, if you want to say maybe Congress, well, perhaps we could listen to that, but there's no organization designed to make money than the WNBA. It has ran like a dumpster fire. They were gifted, gifted a generational cash cow. Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that Caitlin Clark is the best player in that league. She's not.
Maybe she is, maybe she's not. Just from my eyeballs doesn't appear that that really is the case, but she's damn good. She's an all-star. She may be the best passing point guard, but I don't know if she's the best overall player.

And the WNBA had not had that. They've had star players, but not star players to the point to where the casual sports fan would stop what they're doing and turn on the game. Tamika Catchings was awesome. Lisa Leslie, Candice Parker, Diana Taurasi, all phenomenal basketball players.
But the casual sports fan, the guy that watches the NFL or Major League Baseball or the NBA, wasn't setting time aside to watch them play. Caitlin changed that because of the hype coming into the league. And let's be honest, very rarely do you see this level of hype behind a white girl.
So, there are so many things going on here, and the NBA put their money into it. You know, they said, all right, Caitlin Clark's here.
She's getting harassed on the road early on. We're now going to fund the WNBA so they can fly these women privately. No more sitting in the back of an Allegiant Jet anymore. We're going to fly them privately. Caitlin Clark made that happen. Television ratings through the roof. She made that happen. Jersey sales way higher. She made that happen. And in return, she's had the living crap beat out of her by catty jealous chicks. And the leadership of the WNBA has allowed this to happen. They think it's fine because they want to placate the woke mob, the folks that would be offended as opposed to taking care of the cash cow. Well, with all that being said, Nigel, there is no reason why Washington, DC needs to be looking into this. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. There are so many problems in this country right now.
But having Victoria Spartz and Aaron Houchin and Marlon Stutzman and others, I think Flugar of Texas was taking the lead on this.
All that really was was a sternly worded letter to the WNBA, threatening that if they don't find a way to take care of Caitlyn Clark, they could be looking at DOJ problems.

I mean, what if Caitlyn Clark happens to suffer some sort of career-ending injury due to a stupid flagrant foul and then she's able to sue the WNBA for creating some sort of, again, like a hostile work environment. This actually maybe helps her.

I mean, maybe, but I don't think that's where Washington DC needs to step in. It's not their job to dictate legal stuff because that's what that would fall under. Legal stuff.
Yeah, this is a waste of time. This is grandstanding. And I see what Sparks, Houchin and Stutzman are trying to do. They're like, hey, we're from Indiana. We support Caitlyn Clark. Down with the woke, down with this horrible WNBA League. I get it. But this is such a waste of time. This is such a waste of energy.
Let's focus on something productive, right? The time that people spent drafting some sort of finger wagging letter to send to the moron commissioner of the WNBA. It's a waste of time.

Man, you know, that picture of Alyssa Thomas with her fist on Caitlin Clark's throat while she's down on the floor is quickly becoming iconic.

I mean, and just imagine if it was the other way around.
