From the people who bring you legal stuff, from the people who bring you Indiana stuff, I think it's almost time, Nigel.

Nigel (0:07)

What's that?

Hammer (0:08)

For the first time this season, Halloween stuff! Pumpkins, candy, costumes, Halloween stuff.

A new poll asked people, when is the earliest acceptable time to put up your Halloween decorations?

Nigel (0:30)

And one Crystal Hammer answered February.

Hammer (0:35)

100 percent. 100 percent.

Forty-two percent said between October 1st and the 15th. OK, that was the number one answer on the board.

Nigel (0:45)

That makes sense.

Hammer (0:46)

Eighteen percent said between October 16th and the 30th. And then 16 percent said between Labor Day and the end of September.

Nigel (0:59)

Wow, that's early.

That is early. We have neighbors that are awesome, that have this giant skeleton. It's like half of a skeleton that looks like it's crawling out of the ground. But I mean, it looks like it would take like five people, like a crane to put it in there. It's awesome. But they put they put it up like a few weeks ago.

Hammer (1:25)

Yeah.

Nigel (1:26)

And I'm down with it because my kids love it. And it reminds us all the Halloween.

Hammer (1:31)

When it comes to putting up the decorations, the weather has a big part of the game plan. Like if it's around Thanksgiving and you get one of those nice 60, 65 degree days, Christmas lights are going up. OK, because I don't want to be out there when it's 10 Understandable trying to do that kind of crap. So same thing with the Halloween decorations. If it's September 18th and it's sunny and 79, like it is today.

Time to put the pumpkin up, Nigel.

Nigel (2:00)

That's early.

Hammer (2:01)

Time to put the pumpkin up.

Nigel (2:03)

That is early, not too early for, again, Crystal Hammer, who has a fall tree. I was witness to it firsthand. Is that what it's called?

Hammer (2:14)

Yeah, the fall tree.

Nigel (2:16)

Could you describe the fall tree?

Hammer (2:18)

So it's basically like a Christmas tree, but it's decorated with like orange and brown and yellow leaves. And she found like fall tinsely stuff. And it's a fall tree. And it's great. It's about to morph into the Halloween tree, and then it will become the Thanksgiving tree.

And then the Christmas tree, which will probably be up until it becomes the Valentine's tree.

Nigel (2:49)

She's got this all worked out. She's got this charted.

Hammer (2:53)

She is like, if you watch the show Land Man, Billy Bob Thornton's Love Interest, Ali Larder, the way she really gets into these dinner parties and stuff.

Nigel (3:03)

Oh, I was there. Trust me.

Hammer (3:05)

That's her.

Nigel (3:06)

I saw it firsthand. It was one of the best fall parties I've ever been to in my life.

Hammer (3:11)

And like Ali Larder, sometimes she melts down and yells at people. And I've seen that too.

Nigel (3:19)

I've seen that firsthand. I was going to say, are you the recipient?

Hammer (3:23)

I'm the Billy Bob Thornton getting the plate thrown at me. Yes, 100 percent.
