Welcome to The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian with you guys. So today we have a lot of dramatic news. We have breaking news in a second about our plans on attacking Iran.

But super exciting news today, Oracle is in a little bit of trouble.

And Oracle, of course, headed by Larry Ellison, one of the biggest radical Zionists in the world, the same guy who bought CBS, CNN, and TikTok. We'll get to that story a little bit later, that is very exciting. And then there's a traitor in our embassy in Israel, of course, probably the entire embassy's traitors.

But one is clearly proven by The New York Times, and you will see that Israel controls us 100% cuz he will not be arrested. He hasn't been fired, even though it's crystal clear he was working for the Israelis. And wait till you find out who he's related to. Okay, so tons of amazing stories today, but we gotta get to the breaking news right away.

Breaking news on Iran, apparently we have new plans to attack them very significantly, potentially this weekend. This story went back and forth, we are gonna attack Trump said, then he said we're not going to attack and we just found out right now, it might be as soon as Saturday. So Ana, tell us about it.

So first we heard some whispers about how the Trump administration was considering carrying out some additional strikes against Iran ahead of the midterms, which sounded a little crazy, especially considering the fact that this war is deeply unpopular. The rationale that was given in the Atlantic was that Trump is really wanting the gas prices to go down, but every time kinetic warfare against Iran is reignited, obviously the price of oil per barrel shoots up. So that didn't make any sense at all. Well, now we're learning, and then we heard that no, Trump denied it. We're not going to do this. Now the New York Times is reporting that Israel says that fighting with Iran could resume within weeks and has raised its alert and readiness levels despite Trump's statement today after a series of situation assessments held in the defense establishment hours ago. This is according to Israel's Channel 14, by the way. Israel is at a very high level of preparedness for renewed military action soon and says it is also prepared for preemptive action against Iran if preparations for an Iranian attack are identified. I mean, the Israelis think they're under imminent attack by everyone at all times. So I have no doubt that they are trying to push for additional strikes against Iran. Now Israel is signaling that this is what they want to do. And of course, the US always follows Israel's lead. So in addition to that, we're also hearing according to the New York Times that the Trump administration is getting ready to carry out intense strikes against Iran through a three day period.

Likely going to take place during the three day weekend, Columbus Day weekend, I believe. So I have more details on that, but Cenk.

There is no military option. How has Trump not learned this yet?

Yeah, so you mentioned Israelis worrying about an imminent attack. So there's two things about that. One is they are always either worried about that because they think they're in a cult and they think we're all going to die unless we kill all of our neighbors, etc. But the second part of it is that they pretend to be under attack at all times so they could tell American media, my God, the most important people on Earth, the Israelis, they might be slightly inconvenienced as they continue their bombing campaigns throughout the Middle East. They might have to go into bunkers or something, send the panic button in America, send more help, send more war, right? And they're quickly obliged by our government and our media. But really it has nothing to do with any kind of imminent attack. What it does have to do with is imminent elections. Now here's the interesting part. There's two different elections that are coming up. There's the US midterm elections, which Trump, GOP, etc. are very worried about and obviously have high stakes in. But there's also the elections in Israel that are coming up. And Netanyahu is even more concerned and needs a victory very, very badly there. So now the question is who runs America?
