Okay, our friends, so today we are reading you a story that is all about perspective, okay? Perspective, it's a big word. What does it mean?

Yeah, it's kind of like your opinion, yeah. It's the way you see things, okay? The way that you are looking at things, okay? So you can see something. There's a very famous example of seeing a cup that has been filled halfway. And some people will look at it and say, ah, that cup is half full. And some people will look at that cup and say, oh, that cup is half empty.
Do you see what the difference is though?

There is. It's all about positivity.
It's good to have something to drink. It's bad to not have something to drink, especially if you're thirsty, right?

Sometimes bad luck can be good. Right. Like, let's say you missed the bus to go to the beach.

Okay.

That's bad luck, right?

Yeah.

But what if the beach exploded?

So it was good luck that you didn't get exploded when the beach exploded because you missed the bus.

So also, I also have a Dummy 13 guy.

So these Dummy 13 guys are like little 3D printed dudes that you can make do a bunch of stuff. They're really fun for fidgeting. Like when you're bored, you could fidget with it.

**Lisa Bueno** (2:43)
Oh, it's a fidget toy.

**Philip** (2:44)
Nice. Kind of like a fidget toy.

**Lisa Bueno** (2:46)
Cool.

And for some bigger models, you can put swords in, but for some weapons, for some smaller models, you can give them backpacks or extra sets of arms and stuff. It's really cool.

That sounds like fun.

It's like this whole thing.

Neat. So what we're going to do is we're going to talk about this book as we go through it. As we approach the story, we can see there's two characters, a bunny rabbit and a mouse. The bunny rabbit seems to be the good news. The mouse seems to be the bad news. And I say that because one of them is smiling and the other one is frowning.
Okay?
So we're outside. It looks like it's a lovely day. Here comes the bunny with a basket full of yummy looking food for a picnic.

And he says, good news!

**Lisa Bueno** (3:42)
The mouse, who is just popping out of his hole, looks over his shoulder at the bunny. But he also has some kind of storm clouds, right, over his side of the page, right? And it starts to rain. And he says, bad news!
But not to be deterred, which means not to be pushed away from his point, not to be moved. The rabbit says, good news! And he holds up an umbrella. He was prepared. Oh, wonderful. I'm so happy for him.

Although, bad news!

**Lisa Bueno** (4:27)
Says the mouse because he has been picked up by a gust of wind and dragged away in the rainstorm.
The bunny is a bit shocked. But following him, because the bunny is a good friend, he sees the mouse has been shoved into an apple tree, fallen from the apple tree. But now, under the heavy branches and leaves and fruit from the tree, there's a better protection, right? They're under a nice cover from this tree and they're not getting rained on. So guess what? Good news, says the rabbit, who is very happy that they have found some relief.
