Gavin Newsom "Regrets" During COVID

Hammer, you had a good theory about Governor Gavin Newsom in California, said he's not going to run for president if Kamala Harris runs, but there was a big, there was like some gamesmanship there, right? Do you remember what I'm talking about?

I think Greasy Gavin knows that the big financial backers would pick him over Kamala. They've already seen the Kamala movie, and somehow she lost the popular vote. Again, not that that matters. It's not how we picked the president, but the popular vote is designed for the Democrat to win.

But Kamala was so horrible that she lost that and every single swing state. So Gavin Newsom gets to look like he's being Mr. Chivalry here. Look, I'm not going to run for the president if Kamala Harris from my state wants to run too.

He's making the big-time donors pick and choose. So I think it's pretty brilliant. The money is going to go to him. And when Kamala doesn't have the funds, she'll bow out.

He was playing grab ass with Fauci during COVID, and now he's going fly fishing with old Greasy Gavin.

And speaking of COVID, Gavin opened up about some of his regrets during California's COVID crackdowns.

I had a whole chapter just about Purell. We were running around doing price gouging legislation against Purell, and everyone was thinking it was a Purell-based crisis. I mean, you know, we were scrubbing their groceries. Yeah. I mean, ideally, we closed beaches was insane in hindsight.

Obviously, the schools taking too long. A lot of districts were open, but the big ones weren't.

You had that body surfer arrested on the beach. Remember the only guy on the beach there in California? I don't know which part of California it was, probably Southern California. And the police had to go and get this guy that was body surfing during COVID. That was you, Newsom. You knew he was putting the sand on skateparks and like pools and stuff, those empty pools that skaters would go.

It's just, come on, man.

The whole while he was violating his own orders. When we did COVID, hypocrisy madness, the tournament we did in March about four years ago, how many entries were Gavin Newsom? Going to the French Laundry to have meeting with all of his buddies when nobody else was really allowed to go out.

He was not wearing his mask when the Super Bowl came, the social distancing Super Bowl to Los Angeles. And he was in a room with Magic Johnson. If there's ever a dude, you should probably wear your mask around so you don't get compromised. It's the guy that's been battling HIV his whole life. And Gavin couldn't do that.

You know, the thing that gulls me is like, oh yeah, everybody's a genius. Hindsight 2020 No, there were some geniuses in 2020 Talking about Hindsight 2020, but like in the year 2020, there were, it was, it was the governor of Florida, DeSantis, that was a genius. That was the, like, um, Kristi Noem.

There were people, the governor of, I believe, Iowa, like, there were states that didn't shut down at all. So don't give me this crap that, oh yeah, everybody's a genius in 2020

And then there were some doctors, some doctors that were coming out going, this is ridiculous to make these kids stay home. This is so detrimental to their health. And you know what happened to those doctors? They were kicked off of social media because in the Biden administration, once they took over in 2021, man, they were kicking people off left and right.

So so don't give me this sad sack. Oh yeah. Well, everybody's a genius. Back in 2020, Gavin Newsom, because you're trying to run for president and you get that butt sniffer Jake Tapper asking you softball questions while you're fly fishing, for god's sake, who cares?
