Eric O'Keeffe (2:28)

Hey there, folks, and welcome back to What If World, the show where you where questions and ideas inspire off-the-cuff stories. I'm Mr. Eric, your host, and you might be able to hear my voice is a little hoarse this week, but fortunately, Ms. Karen and I had recorded a YouTube episode with low-stimulation effects and no AI. We're going to play the audio for you from that episode now. Grown-ups, you can follow the link in the show notes to see the full video, or just search for What If World on YouTube Kids.

One last heads up, because I recorded this in front of a green screen, which is really fun, it means the audio quality is going to sound a little different from our normal episodes. We'll be back next week with a brand new one. Now for the story.

Eric O'Keeffe (3:15)

Did you know that almost every episode of What If World has been improvised, unscripted, made up on the spot?

I did a lot of improv in my early years. I keep doing it with What If World, so I'm going to try to improvise a story for you today. I have never heard this What If question before. Miss Karen, the co-creator of What If World, found it for me, so let's hear it.

Gavin (3:40)

My name is Gavin, and my favorite food is pizza. My life question is, what if a dog has a power to turn anything he touches into sticks, and he turns What If World into a stick?

Eric O'Keeffe (4:03)

Well, Gavin, thank you so much for your question.

And thanks to Gavin's grown up for repeating it. That's always really helpful if you call on your own questions. Love getting a grown up's help. Just to make sure that I understand, what I heard was, Gavin said, what if Fred the dog who loves sticks, he's a pug mix with a tongue that's too long for his mouth, and he really loves sticks, so what if he could turn anything that he touches into sticks, and he turns all of What If World into a stick?

SPEAKER_3 (4:38)

Okay?

Eric O'Keeffe (4:39)

Let's see what happens.

Eric O'Keeffe (4:41)

Hey folks, hang tight through this quick ad break, then we'll be right back to the show.

SPEAKER_3 (4:53)

That's Lego Squirtle.

SPEAKER_4 (4:56)

No.

Eric O'Keeffe (4:58)

It's Lego Squirtle on a buggy.

Smart Brick turns buggy smart tag into a joy ride for your Lego Pokemon. Lego Pokemon, you're the trainer now.

SPEAKER_6 (5:18)

Oh boy, it's great being a doggy.

SPEAKER_4 (5:22)

Having nothing to do, just living in What If World.

Eric O'Keeffe (5:26)

Set in front of the dog. He just woken up from a nap that well, had gone on for how?

SPEAKER_6 (5:32)

Two weeks, Mr. Eric, a two week nap.

Eric O'Keeffe (5:34)

Now that he lives in What If World, he can nap as long as he likes.

Eric O'Keeffe (5:38)

Must be nice.

Gavin (5:40)

Oh, it's really nice.

SPEAKER_6 (5:41)

The only thing is whenever I wake up from a two week nap, I really need to get a good chew on.

Um, where's my sticks? Where's my sticks, Mr. Eric? Where's my sticks?
