What's happening?
Lynette Carolla (0:16)
Welcome to our Friday show. What a long week.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (0:23)
It really has been. And then our next show is going to be due, like, when we record on Sunday, we're going to be doing a show like, when we record on a Tuesday, it's kind of a drag. I know. Then next Monday hits you fast.
Lynette Carolla (0:33)
It comes up quick and you're like, how was your week? Well, I mean, watched a TV show.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (0:42)
Yeah.
I feel like I had over the last few weeks, I had more stuff like happening where I was like, oh, that'll be good. Cause then I can talk about this. But then you'll have a week where you're like, what did I do?
Lynette Carolla (0:54)
Right. I know.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (0:55)
Nothing.
Lynette Carolla (0:56)
And it does seem like a blur. Well, you know, I, my back is killing me because every day there's boxes to be unpacked. There's shit to be moved up and down stairs. And every morning I wake up and it's like, I can barely start moving.
Once I get moving, I'm OK. But like those first couple steps, you're just like, you know, you really feel it, you know, especially my sciatica is acting up. And I haven't had that problem in years.
But, you know, trying to stretch, you know, every night before I go to bed, but doesn't help, you know. So it's so. But Wendy's going to be leaving soon. So tomorrow. Well, here we are on Friday. My nephew is in town with his wife and their baby. And they're staying. They're coming, staying for a couple of days. And they're going to Disneyland. They're all going to Disneyland and staying overnight and staying overnight. And then they're going to come back to my house on Sunday.
Well, guess who else is showing up on Sunday this weekend? Tony, my puppy.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (2:03)
Yay.
Lynette Carolla (2:04)
I know. I know. So so she's showing up. So basically how it works, this woman is six hours away. So you can either come and pick the dog up six hours. I mean, that's a 12 hour drive, like picked up, you know. Yeah. Or you can have a delivery, somebody that can deliver the dog, which Glenn did. So this woman that does that, I've been talking to her. So she's going to be able to pick up the dog. But I'm probably not going to get the dog until pretty late that night because she's picking up the dog at like three o'clock in the afternoon or something. So depending on traffic, who knows?
But I'm going to be all ready. I'm going to have my puppy gates. I got one at the bottom of the stairs, at the top of the stairs. I have a crate, a small crate that Suzanne gave me. We'll see. It's the, she's going to grow out of that crate pretty quick because Suzanne's dog is kind of little.
So I got the crate ready to go.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (3:06)
I have one that you can have for like the medium. Well, it's big enough for Bob and he's 75 pounds. Oh, okay. So when you're ready for a big one.
Lynette Carolla (3:15)
Really? Yeah, because Bob doesn't use the crate.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (3:18)
He never used it.
Lynette Carolla (3:19)
Yeah.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (3:20)
But he wasn't crate trained from the beginning.
Lynette Carolla (3:22)
Right. And he didn't like it. Right. Right.
So, yes, so I'm going to try and do the crate. Well, I'm going to do the crate train. And I think it's going to be the best for especially at a puppy's age. So I have the crate, I have the doggy bed. I got the bowls and the collar and all that stuff.
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (3:41)
Are you going to put the dog bed inside the crate? Are you going to? Do you know how you're going to do that?
Lynette Carolla (3:46)
I mean, I do have my girlfriend Dawn gave me this like fluffy pillow-y kind of thing that fits good and as for when she's a puppy that fits inside the crate. So I'll have that. And then I'm also going to have a dog bed in case she wants. I don't know. I'm going to let her have her choice. Like here, you can stay in your little crate or you can come up on my bed. I don't know.
Or do I put her in the crate and close it at night?
Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (4:14)
I don't. You know what? You got to ask the woman who's has her right now. What's the dog doing?
