**Nick** (0:04)
Hey, welcome to the show. Oh, the 31st of Augustus, the last day of winter. We're going to spring tomorrow.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:13)
Sorry.

**Nick** (0:13)
Into spring, yeah.

**Nick** (0:14)
Yeah, we're going into spring.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:15)
Into spring.

**Nick** (0:15)
Spring has sprung.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:16)
How good. Winter just, I don't like winter. I know we barely get a winter here, and we barely did get a winter this year. It was superb.

**David Lutteral** (0:22)
I don't remember one day when I thought, you know, from freezing cold.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:25)
I just like it. Honestly. I know, but I still like summer.

**Nick** (0:28)
Yeah, summer's the best. Like I could never live in a Victoria or a London.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:32)
No way.

**David Lutteral** (0:34)
No sunshine.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:35)
All those convicts must have been so happy when they actually got to Australia.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:38)
They would have been.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:38)
I just reckon.

**SPEAKER_6** (0:39)
Yeah, definitely.

**David Lutteral** (0:40)
Brilliant sunshine.

**Nick** (0:41)
Imagine Brisbane back in the day when they came here, the water was clear. The Brisbane River would have been clear.

**SPEAKER_7** (0:46)
Yeah, I reckon it was back in the day.

**Nick** (0:48)
That's what they said. That's what I always hear that.

**David Lutteral** (0:50)
People used to swim at the Indooroopilly.

**SPEAKER_7** (0:52)
True.

**Susie O'Neill** (0:53)
Actually, yeah, true. Yeah. You wouldn't now.

**Nick** (0:56)
Yeah, there's bull sharks and bodies. And dirt. Yeah, there's some crotty stuff.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:01)
Band-aids.

**Nick** (1:02)
I still used to swim in the river, like as a kid, like growing up.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:05)
Really? Yeah. I did a little bit at, I went to school at Lewitts Hill, and so we used to kayak out of there for sport.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:09)
Yeah.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:10)
And because I never really felt like doing it, because I was tired from swimming training, you could just flip your kayak right at the beginning and then just stay at the edges the whole time and not have to do it.

**SPEAKER_6** (1:18)
I could.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:19)
But yeah, even back then, it seemed a bit clearer. Yeah, that was 35 years ago, I suppose.

**David Lutteral** (1:24)
Or still, it would be nice if it was clear again.

**Nick** (1:27)
Yeah, it would be. Wouldn't it be? I think those days are gone.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:29)
And just cement it. Yeah.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:30)
Spent the whole bloody thing.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:31)
Spent the bottom for Brisbane 32

**Nick** (1:33)
Spent the whole, how long would that take?

**Susie O'Neill** (1:35)
How hard would that be?

**Susie O'Neill** (1:36)
Drain and cement the Brissy River. Drain and cement.

**Nick** (1:39)
Imagine winning that job.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:40)
Oh God. Actually, you know, talking about those sort of jobs, I found out the other day, did you, that Dolly Parton's husband had a proper job the whole time. He lay asphalt, an asphalt laying business. Really?

**SPEAKER_7** (1:52)
Yeah.

**Susie O'Neill** (1:52)
Apparently, he just didn't want to be in the spotlight or part of Dolly's world. He was happy for her to do whatever he wanted. Sorry, whatever she wanted, but he just wanted to keep his normal, simple life, which was laying asphalt.

**SPEAKER_7** (2:04)
Imagine going to work.

**Nick** (2:05)
Yeah. I guess we'd still have any money. They wouldn't have needed to though, because of Dolly.

**Susie O'Neill** (2:09)
But they had a purpose.

**Nick** (2:09)
Yeah.

**Susie O'Neill** (2:10)
That's funny. I think that's pretty cool. They died within probably a year of each other.

**David Lutteral** (2:15)
Did they? He went first, didn't he? I did read that.

**Susie O'Neill** (2:17)
Maybe within two years, but he was-

**David Lutteral** (2:20)
The song originally was Paving 9 to 5

**Susie O'Neill** (2:24)
Paving 9 to 5

**Susie O'Neill** (2:26)
That's funny. Yeah.

**Nick** (2:27)
Imagine that little homage. Anyway, it's a great show today, nonetheless.

**Susie O'Neill** (2:31)
Oh, it's just that one.

**David Lutteral** (2:32)
Yeah.

**Nick** (2:33)
We're still there.

**David Lutteral** (2:34)
Enjoy it.
Kelly blowing up on the text line. That number again. What is that number?

**Susie O'Neill** (2:47)
457 611 69

**David Lutteral** (2:52)
What did she say? Kelly's exact words were, stupid Post Malone canceled everything.

**Nick** (2:56)
Yeah, he canceled his concert, his tour.

**David Lutteral** (2:59)
He's postponed, he says he's postponed, he's Australia, postponed. His Australian Stadium Tour just one month out, leaving ticket holders and huge local festivals without their headline acts. So he's postponed his big ass World Tour, which was due to perform in stadiums across the country, Brisbane and Sydney this October, what would mark the global superstars largest headline shows down under to date.
