**Nick** (0:04)
Welcome everyone to the podcast.
**David Lutteral** (0:06)
What day is it?
**Nick** (0:07)
It is the 13th of August.
**David Lutteral** (0:09)
Oh my goodness, time is flying.
**Nick** (0:12)
Oh, it really is.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:13)
I'll turn my microphone on. It's a Thursday though, I feel pretty good. Had yesterday off.
**Nick** (0:17)
Thursday, it felt like a Monday, then you remembered it was a Thursday.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:21)
Yeah. So it was good and bad.
**Nick** (0:23)
Yeah, it was a fun day, it was a fun show.
**Susie O'Neill** (0:25)
It was a fun show. I mean, the lead up to it, the mentality.
**Nick** (0:28)
Just coming in to work, we are heroes.
Thank you. So many people would have taken today off though. Like if you worked an office job and you had the Wednesday off, as if you're not taking Thursday, then working from home on Friday.
**David Lutteral** (0:41)
Yeah, I mean, yeah, exactly. Because I mean, it's a smart thing to do for a boss because it's, you know, kind of, you've had a day off, weeks mentally, you've switched off probably a little bit. So productivity wise, it's going to be low. So why not just make it a week long holiday?
**Nick** (0:55)
Yeah, you may as well.
**David Lutteral** (0:56)
These two days of leave.
**Nick** (0:58)
See you later. Enjoy it, you know?
**Susie O'Neill** (1:00)
Good idea. Enjoy it, you know?
**SPEAKER_5** (1:01)
Yeah.
**David Lutteral** (1:02)
That show's good today.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:04)
Ekka chat.
**Nick** (1:05)
Ekka chats.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:05)
Oh, because I'm going to the Ekka today. I'm going to buy everyone a...
**SPEAKER_6** (1:08)
Suse gets a new show team nickname.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:10)
Sample bag.
**Nick** (1:10)
And getting everyone a show bag.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:12)
Show bag.
**Nick** (1:13)
And we hear about that. We hear about why my bed broke and I'm in trouble financially. And then Brisbane's Best Bubbler. More chat about that.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:28)
Oh, it's so good to be back.
**Nick** (1:29)
Yeah, a little one day hiatus yesterday.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:31)
Bummer to have the day off yesterday, wasn't it? Yeah, you hated it.
**Nick** (1:34)
And you kept texting me saying, wish we were at work.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:35)
Wish we were at work.
**David Lutteral** (1:37)
I was going to ask you to enjoy the Ekka. You're going today, Susan.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:39)
Yes, I'll be at 245 at the ABC stand in the Agricultural Pavilion.
**Nick** (1:45)
Oh, great.
**David Lutteral** (1:45)
My mum can't wait. She's going to be there with bells on.
**Nick** (1:47)
She'll be there live with the Verber audience.
**Susie O'Neill** (1:50)
Straight after it, because I've got to wait for Cat Feeney. I think she works after the show finishes for some weird reason. I should go and have, do you reckon Mrs. Luttrell want to go and have a wine somewhere?
**David Lutteral** (2:02)
Yes.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:03)
With me?
**Nick** (2:04)
Yeah, are you going to take her for a little wine?
**David Lutteral** (2:05)
I want to check out, from my memory, a couple of years ago, I had a few wines at the Cireme. Hopefully, they've still got to stand there. That was a great one.
We just stood there all day.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:14)
Is that like wine tasting? I can go there and just have a drink.
**Nick** (2:16)
You get pretty drunk off wine tasting too. You just keep having the nibbles. Totally.
**David Lutteral** (2:21)
That's fun.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:22)
Okay. I've always wanted to go to Cattleman's.
**Nick** (2:24)
The Cattleman's, it was big back in the 80s.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:27)
When I was at school, everyone spoke about it.
**David Lutteral** (2:30)
I never got there.
**Nick** (2:30)
Are you going to go to Sideshow Alley? Go on the Gravitron. Just see how you hold up.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:36)
Is it still there?
**Nick** (2:37)
I don't know. I have no idea.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:38)
I'm not really big on rides, especially as I get older. I think your ears go funnier.
**David Lutteral** (2:44)
This haunted house looks pretty piss-weak slash funny slash fun.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:47)
Does it? I don't know.
**Nick** (2:49)
Something about a bunch of grownups in masks standing in the dark house waiting for you to come in so they can scare you, just wigs me out a little bit.
**David Lutteral** (2:56)
Yeah, it is a bit weird.
**Nick** (2:57)
It's a bit odd, you know?
**Susie O'Neill** (2:58)
I wouldn't mind getting a sample bag. Are they still called sample bags?
**David Lutteral** (3:01)
Yeah, they're called show bags. Sample bags ended in about 1950s.
