Nick (0:05)

Hey, welcome to the show, Tuesday the 6th of October. It's our first show in our brand new studio.

David Lutteral (0:11)

Well, it's not a brand new studio, really.

Susie O'Neill (0:13)

Yeah, well.

David Lutteral (0:14)

Because we're here in this studio, waiting for our brand new studios, but we're in a bit of a sweat box, to be honest with you.

Susie O'Neill (0:22)

Oh, yeah, you're trying to cool down by now, though.

Nick (0:25)

You know what's funny, though?

Susie O'Neill (0:25)

Are you nice now?

Nick (0:26)

I'm good now, because we've got a fan on.

David Lutteral (0:27)

A bloody ceiling fan?

Nick (0:29)

I'm not the ceiling fan.

Susie O'Neill (0:29)

What do you call them? Pedestal fan. That's helping.

Nick (0:31)

I went into the producer's room in there, and that is a full sweat box.

SPEAKER_7 (0:34)

Oh, is it hot?

Nick (0:34)

They've got no fan there. It's hot in there. It's like a sweatshop.

David Lutteral (0:36)

That's one of the sweatiest boxes I've ever been in.

SPEAKER_7 (0:38)

And you've been in a lot of sweat boxes.

SPEAKER_8 (0:40)

That's saying something.

Susie O'Neill (0:41)

That's an easy one.

SPEAKER_9 (0:44)

You were so mad.

SPEAKER_5 (0:45)

It reminds me of One in Partico, actually.

SPEAKER_7 (0:47)

No. Just enjoy the show.

Susie O'Neill (0:50)

I've heard about that one.

SPEAKER_9 (0:53)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_5 (0:54)

I'm going to stop telling you all our biggest secrets.

SPEAKER_10 (0:58)

Sweaty box secrets.

SPEAKER_5 (0:59)

Anyway, yeah, enjoy the show.

Susie O'Neill (1:00)

Why don't I mine it a bit hot in here, by the way? Oh, we're still, we're finished.

SPEAKER_9 (1:02)

Oh, that one. We want to keep going. Yeah, that's fine.

David Lutteral (1:05)

That's a bit hot.

Susie O'Neill (1:06)

It's usually too cold for me.

SPEAKER_7 (1:07)

Yeah.

David Lutteral (1:08)

How sweaty? It's too sweaty when it comes to boxes.

Nick (1:10)

Oh, well, according to you, not sweaty enough, ever.

SPEAKER_7 (1:14)

Suse, over to you.

Susie O'Neill (1:15)

No, there's a point.

SPEAKER_7 (1:17)

There's a point.

Susie O'Neill (1:19)

It's like a bill graph.

David Lutteral (1:20)

There is. The crazy, the crazy hot box, Vortex, you know, that thing.

Susie O'Neill (1:27)

It's got to be right.

SPEAKER_9 (1:29)

The crazy hot box.

Nick (1:30)

The correlation of the hot box into perfect.

David Lutteral (1:35)

It depends how much carpet there is.

SPEAKER_5 (1:40)

See, this has got some pretty thick carpet in here.

David Lutteral (1:43)

What are you laughing at?

SPEAKER_5 (1:44)

I'm just talking about the room.

Susie O'Neill (1:46)

No, you are not.

SPEAKER_8 (1:47)

You are doing a double entendre.

SPEAKER_9 (1:49)

You're a naughty boy.

SPEAKER_5 (1:50)

Maybe I am.

Susie O'Neill (1:51)

You're a naughty boy.

Nick (1:53)

Anyway, enjoy the show.

SPEAKER_1 (1:55)

The Nick, Luttsy & Susie O'Neill Podcast.

Nick (2:00)

We are back, baby.

Susie O'Neill (2:01)

Oh, great to be here. Good morning, every bunny.

Nick (2:05)

As one David just swans in. Good morning, sir.

David Lutteral (2:08)

Well, I went around the other way because there's no entrance to the studio. Some guy's constructing a door, which is the only way I can get in the studio. So I went over the other way and brushed past 17 Circular Sores and saw a lot of Dylan in the audio tech.

Nick (2:23)

Yeah.

David Lutteral (2:24)

He's sitting over the other side.

Susie O'Neill (2:25)

We've got tradies.

David Lutteral (2:26)

In the midst of it.

Susie O'Neill (2:28)

He's in a fishbowl over there.

Nick (2:29)

Yeah, anyway. We're in a brand new studio in like a meeting room. It's like camping, essentially. It feels very strange.

David Lutteral (2:35)

You know what happened last night? I started watching a TV show. And this is nothing against our equipment. These headphones we're wearing. I'm watching a show from 1977

Where a radio announcer, it's that new show.

It's on Netflix called American Hostage. Oh, yes. Which, what's his name? I don't know his name, actor. Anyway, it's set in 1977 They're wearing exactly the same headphones that we are using right now. Like, identical, same model.

Nick (3:06)

Yeah.

David Lutteral (3:07)

1977

Susie O'Neill (3:08)

Wow, that was a long time ago.

Nick (3:09)

They're probably in a better room than what we're wearing right now, too, as well.

Susie O'Neill (3:12)

It was 49 years ago.

David Lutteral (3:14)

49, yeah, 50 years ago, essentially.

Susie O'Neill (3:16)

SPEAKER_10 (3:17)

Oh, well.

Susie O'Neill (3:18)

You know, we don't like to be spoiled in here.

SPEAKER_7 (3:20)

It's so true, Suse.

SPEAKER_9 (3:21)

We like to be in a cupboard with our old fashion headphones.
