SPEAKER_1 (0:01)

The Nick, Luttsy & Susie O'Neill Podcast.

Ash Bradnam (0:04)

Fun show today. If I do say so myself.

David Lutteral (0:07)

Yeah, it was. I agree with you, Buzz. And hello, everyone.

Ash Bradnam (0:10)

Hi. Hi, Susie.

Susie O'Neill (0:13)

Good morning, everyone. Yep.

David Lutteral (0:14)

Well, afternoon, depending on when you're listening. Good show today. Smarter Than, Suze goes from strength to strength.

I won't spoil it for you, but it's a big one again today.

Susie O'Neill (0:25)

Finally hit my straps in this game.

David Lutteral (0:26)

Oh, you spilled it.

Great. Okay, she wins.

Ash Bradnam (0:31)

Your mum joined us on the show, Luttsy.

David Lutteral (0:33)

She did. I didn't expect that. I don't know if she rang in or we rang her, but whatever.

Susie O'Neill (0:37)

I think she rang in.

David Lutteral (0:38)

You spoke about going on holidays with mums today.

Ash Bradnam (0:41)

She's always good value, Mrs. Luttrell, isn't she? She provides us a big laugh.

SPEAKER_4 (0:44)

She's a natural talent.

Ash Bradnam (0:45)

Very good.

Susie O'Neill (0:47)

Not many mums could come on and do gear on this show.

SPEAKER_4 (0:49)

No.

David Lutteral (0:50)

Not many.

Susie O'Neill (0:50)

Mine couldn't. Could yours?

Ash Bradnam (0:52)

There's no way my mum could. She'd try.

David Lutteral (0:53)

I had a really busy day yesterday, but all I did yesterday, really, the main part of the day was finding two microphones, wireless microphones, Bluetooth for mum that they can put in front of a 15-person choir at Burmbara.

Ash Bradnam (1:06)

That's not what I'm doing.

Susie O'Neill (1:07)

I was about to say, you're doing something very different.

David Lutteral (1:09)

And then, and so I'm just asking AI. She said, oh yeah, ask everyone in here. Like, no one knows. Like, no one's in here.

Susie O'Neill (1:14)

The average age is like 70

David Lutteral (1:16)

Yeah, like Luke McHugh wouldn't know that.

SPEAKER_4 (1:17)

Oh, in here, yeah. I bet you're in Burmbra, you're asking.

David Lutteral (1:20)

No, they're asking me to get these microphones for Burmbra. I'm like, you know, there's got to be omnidirectional sort of crap.

Ash Bradnam (1:27)

Like, I mean, how are they stage performers or are they, well, they're not the Burmbra Buskers.

David Lutteral (1:32)

Yeah, the Burmbra Buskers.

SPEAKER_4 (1:34)

Buskers don't have high tech.

David Lutteral (1:35)

They now want two microphones.

Ash Bradnam (1:36)

Oh no.

Susie O'Neill (1:37)

I've met five of the five of that band and choir.

SPEAKER_4 (1:40)

You've met one third of them.

Susie O'Neill (1:42)

Yeah, I've met.

Ash Bradnam (1:43)

Well, there's 15

David Lutteral (1:44)

15 of them.

Ash Bradnam (1:45)

They don't need microphones.

David Lutteral (1:46)

Apparently they do. I don't know.

So I'm just, that's most of my day yesterday.

Susie O'Neill (1:52)

Everyone talks about those roadie ones, R-O-D-E.

David Lutteral (1:54)

Well, funny as it is, because road is the best ones apparently, but they're not wireless, the ones that are good for that stuff. And apparently she wants wireless.

Susie O'Neill (2:02)

No cords.

David Lutteral (2:03)

No cords.

Ash Bradnam (2:04)

I'm picturing the long, is that how I'm doing that thing?

SPEAKER_4 (2:07)

Yeah, exactly.

David Lutteral (2:08)

Two big long ones like that would be ideal.

Ash Bradnam (2:11)

What about the microphones though, Luttsy?

David Lutteral (2:12)

Yeah.

Susie O'Neill (2:14)

I'm not going to do any gestures.

David Lutteral (2:15)

But they're like $2,000 or something, those are expensive.

Susie O'Neill (2:17)

That's too much.

Ash Bradnam (2:18)

I know.

David Lutteral (2:19)

Anyway, so that's my problem.

Ash Bradnam (2:21)

Enjoy the show. It was a good one.

Susie O'Neill (2:22)

Yep.

Good morning, Brisbane. I'm Susie O'Neill. With the top three things, sorry.

David Lutteral (2:37)

Just a little bit of a pause for people to say good morning, Susie.

Ash Bradnam (2:40)

Sharon Goodell doesn't get straight into it.

Susie O'Neill (2:41)

The only problem I've got here is because this studio is so hot and we've got a revolving fan, every time it hits my piece of paper, it blows inwards. It flaps. It flaps. Okay, let me start again.

Good morning, Brisbane. I'm Susie O'Neill. With the top three things you need to know, heading into today, Wednesday the 14th of October. The incredible Olivia Dean performed to a sold out crowd at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre last night.

David Lutteral (3:06)

Talk me through it. I've been hearing stuff about it. I don't know if you're going to dabble in this.

SPEAKER_7 (3:10)

I heard in the Lullabah Surf Club.

Susie O'Neill (3:11)

Yes.

Ash Bradnam (3:11)

Well, Man I Need is a big one, obviously.
