I forgot we started at 9 I've been away for a few days. I forgot. There's this extra hour now, 9 to noon every day, which you're certainly excited about. Hey, we got a lot to get to today. We'll get to Iran.
I think we're going to be getting to that every day for the next couple of years. We'll get to Iran, we'll get to Israel, we'll get to Mamdani, we'll get to MSG, we'll get to Tommy John, all sorts of things to talk about today. So, hey, by the way, the mayor is going on vacation this week.
So, I know a lot of you will miss him. He'll be gone for a week. He's on a vacation with his family. They're going to upstate New York.
They will not say where. To a guy like that, upstate New York could mean Yonkers. I don't know what he means by upstate New York. Why won't he say where he's going?
Well, there's a number of possibilities. Usually when a Democrat like that won't say where he's going on his vacation, it means that he's actually going to be staying in the estate of some zillionaire oligarch and doesn't think it's the right look for him.
Or he's going to meet with who knows who, maybe a bunch of whole communists or socialists or somebody upstate.
Or, I don't know, I can't think of any. Why wouldn't you tell people where you're going? It's somewhere upstate. The mayor taking a week off from what? We don't know. He doesn't do much all week. He really doesn't do much of anything. Occasionally makes a video, makes a speech. A lot of weed, a lot of weed I hear lately. That's basically it. It's sort of on the de Blasio schedule. Without the gym, without the coffee shop. But it's like the de Blasio kind of schedule. Hey, the president was in Long Island on Friday, made a great speech, well over an hour, addressed a thousand people there at the Nassau Police Academy. A great speech, talked about a lot of stuff. He talks about Iran. The main focus of the speech was crime. FBI crime statistics show crime has come down dramatically across the country. One reason is they've gotten a lot of criminals out. They've thrown a lot of criminals out of the country. These illegals that they're going after, the first round, are criminals. You know, robbers, rapists, people have been committing crimes. And they've gotten thousands and thousands, tens of thousands of them out of the country. That's criminals gone. So when you get rid of criminals, when you get them off the street, you get less crime. Like here in New York, police will tell you off the record, it's the same 2,500 criminals over and over and over again. They know who they are. Yeah, they could go out and arrest them tonight.
But district attorney won't prosecute, judges will let them out. Look at this guy here. 150 arrests. Look at this guy. 150 arrests. Career criminal Shaquan Seth, after 150 arrests, was again arrested last week and cut loose by the DA, by the judge. He's had, in the last couple of weeks, five arrests for shoplifting, five separate shoplifting incidents.
And then you get these Democrats who say, well, he stole because of poverty and I don't think so. He stole $600 worth of fancy candles at the last place, obviously to resell them. And after 150 arrests, right back on the street. Now, through his career as a criminal, he's been in jail for larceny, robbery, resisting arrest, assaulting a cop. I mean, it's clear this is an out and out criminal. And in the last couple of weeks, just committed five more robberies, shoplifting. And they let him out again. And that's because of Andrew Cuomo and the Progressives. And it was Cuomo that gave us the no bail, no jail. And this guy's just walking around. No bail, no jail. Thank you, Andrew Cuomo. Thank you, Alvin Bragg. Who doesn't believe in putting anybody in jail. Although this is in Queens. They got a good DA there. But you got that no bail, no jail. Absolutely ridiculous. But the president talked about crime. Hey, he really went after Letitia James in that speech. The most corrupt prosecutor in America. And you could make the case for that. But it was a great speech at Long Island on Friday.
