It's Nova 106.9, Nick Luttsy & Susie O'Neill, and hey, you can catch this man at the Brissy Powerhouse on now until August 2nd, Tickets at Ticket Tech. He joins us in the studio, the very funny, Wil Anderson.
**Wil Anderson** (0:16)
Now, thank you. I appreciate that you've got me in to talk about my show, but I've got a bigger issue that I want to bring to the table because today, I'm awaiting a delivery, right? Now, can I ask you, Luttsy, tell me this, like, what do you think is the appropriate? Because I understand they have to give you a window for delivery.
They can't give you, like, an exact time. I'm fine with that. I'm a man of the people. I understand that working people are out on the roads, you're delivering things. There's always going to be things that go wrong. I'm giving you a window. I'm happy to give you a window. I'm not that busy, but I've got to be honest with you, how big should that window be?
**Luttsy** (0:48)
I'm going to suggest, they're saying to you nine till three, which is ridiculous. I'm going to suggest two hours. I'd say one till three.
**Wil Anderson** (0:54)
Okay, so you're happy with the two-hour window. Susie, what do you reckon?
**Susie O'Neill** (0:57)
I'd go four.
I've got a thing on Thursday. Someone's coming to my house to deliver something. They're giving me a four-hour window. I'm happy with that.
**Wil Anderson** (1:04)
And you're happy with four? Twelve to four. Okay, happy with the four. What do you reckon, Nick?
**Nick** (1:08)
I've got the good guys delivering something to me today. It's nine to one, so it's a four-hour window. Yeah, that's okay.
**Wil Anderson** (1:12)
Okay, four-hour window you're happy with. I also, I would prefer the two-hour window. I'm a Luttsy guy, but you know what? I'll give you a four-hour window. But the people who are delivering my washer and dryer today have sent me this message, which says it will be arriving between 10 and 2 Okay, good. Four-hour window. Please note that it may arrive 90 minutes before or 90 minutes after.
**Luttsy** (1:39)
That is now a seven-hour window.
**Wil Anderson** (1:42)
That's not a window. You've knocked out a wall of your house and left it open.
**Nick** (1:47)
How do they do that?
**Luttsy** (1:48)
Imagine any other industry that you get away with that.
**Wil Anderson** (1:51)
Yeah, it's a four-hour window, but there's also three hours at the other side of the four-hour window that we're also considering the window, not the window.
**Nick** (1:57)
If you're not there on either side, do they just not deliver it? Like that's that?
**Wil Anderson** (2:00)
They not deliver it, but good news, good news for you. You get to play this game again and it just costs you another delivery fee. Exactly.
**Susie O'Neill** (2:07)
And also you're not even in the city where it's delivered to, I don't think today, are you?
**Wil Anderson** (2:10)
That's why it's so high pressure today, Susie. That's why I'm really monitoring this phone as we go on.
I'm going to get to the gold in this interview. We can all go home because I'm going to be on this phone because I've got a 7-hour window apparently.
**Luttsy** (2:23)
And be careful, I got a bar fridge dropped off the other day and I was tracking him so I could actually see where he was, this plate. He got to my front door and I thought, I'm going to meet him in the front door. And as I ran out of my apartment and could see the front door, he was already heading back to the truck. He was leaving it outside the apartment and I ran out and go, whoa, whoa, whoa.
I wheeled it in and down the steps, which he did, but if he hadn't done that, then I'm on air task of trying to do the last 5% of the journey.
**Wil Anderson** (2:52)
Oh yeah, don't get me wrong. Like if these guys don't deliver this washer and dryer, this washer and dryer will then just sit in that cupboard unconnected for the next year and a half. You know, one of the window will be here to 2029 before I stop going to Laundromat.
**Susie O'Neill** (3:07)
Oh, so funny. Good luck with that.
**Wil Anderson** (3:09)
Thank you. I appreciate that.
**Susie O'Neill** (3:11)
I wanted to ask you.
**Wil Anderson** (3:12)
Thank you Susie. Ask me. What do you want to ask?
**Susie O'Neill** (3:14)
Are you really good friends with Todd Sampson?
**Wil Anderson** (3:16)
Am I really good friends with Todd Sampson? Did you meet him on TV? Can anyone be really good friends with Todd Sampson?
