It's September 30th. Yo, I'm Corey with the story, and this is New York Rangers News Today, your AI power team report. All right, so the Bruins kicked off their season with a solid win over the Rangers, taking it 3-0.

Fraser Minten was a star of the night, breaking the deadlock with just over 4 minutes left, which is how you start a season, right? Then there's JJ Peterka, who quickly followed it up with a goal, and Mark Kastelic sealed it with an empty netter just 23 seconds later. That quick burst really shows how fast things can turn in this game.

Jeremy Swayman stood tall in net, racking up 24 saves for his 19th career shutout. That's a huge confidence boost for him and the team. Don't forget Igor Shesterkin, who had 20 saves but faced some serious pressure throughout the night. The Bruins notched their 11 straight win in home openers, and that record is something to be proud of. Last season, they fell short in the playoffs, so they're clearly coming back strong under Marco Sturm in his second year as coach. Up next, the Rangers host Tampa, while the Bruins head to Winnipeg. It'll be interesting to see if they can keep this momentum going.
