Fox, Fox, and More Fox Three Stories (Fox has a problem)

Okay, our friends. So today we are reading the final story, story three, in our book, which we have been reading called Fox, Fox and More Fox, by Corey R. Tabor. And the first book we learned that the Fox wanted to try to be something other than what he was. He had fun playing make-believe, but then he realized he's best just as he is. And in the second book, he wanted to invite some friends over to lunch. And kind of was a little aggressive in the way he asked them, but they all ended up having a nice lunch together. And maybe next time he asks them more politely, don't you think? And now in this book, we have another interesting situation with Mr. Fox. Today's book is called Fox has a problem. And it is the final story in the book. And we can kind of see when we look at this picture, what the problem might be. But before we do, let's introduce ourselves. Today's story is read by Mommy and... Philip! Philip! Ooh, that kind of sounded like it landed and splattered. I'll do it again. Philip!
I'll do it one more time.
Oh my. That would be a problem, wouldn't it? If your name dropped and splattered every time you said it. So today's story is called Fox Has a Problem. And when we look at the picture, we can see Fox is sitting with some friends. He's got those three birds from the last story. And they're all looking quite puzzled up into the sky because there's a tree there. And in the tree, we can see a kite.
Now, Fox has a problem. There in the tree is the kite all twisted up. Oh no, it's not a new problem. And when the picture pulls back, we get to see even more trees and even more kites. One, two, three, four, five, a good dozen, maybe 13 kites in these trees. There's four or five trees here, and they're all covered in kites. But Fox has an idea, a big idea. And his big idea is to bring a huge, supersized fan, like from a movie, huge fan. And plugging it in and turning it on, and then he's just going to blow these trees to kingdom come, so that everything that's on the trees, including the kites, is blown off. Right?
And now Bear has a problem, a very new problem. See, because what he has done, poor fox, is he has blown all the leaves and all the kites and everything else off the trees and into Bear's cave. Yeah, his home. He even has a little mailbox up front that says Bear. But now, of course, it is covered in leaves and kites. So, oh no, we turn the page and it says, but Fox has another idea, another big idea. Oh, Fox, he wants to vacuum it all up. He has one of those mega supersized vacuums. And he is sucking up all the leaves and all, but, oh dear.
Now, Rabbit has a problem. A very new, very big problem, because that vacuum was over Rabbit's vacuum.
And now, there's a huge container full of leaves and kites and bear, and Rabbit can't get out of his home. Too bad for Rabbit. This is a little den. But Fox has an idea. Another one? A sharp idea. Yeah, he's got a, like a, a needle. And he's going to pop a hole in the vacuum bag where all of the items are. And sure enough, he does pop! And the birds go flying, and the bear goes flying, and the rabbit goes flying, and the fox goes flying, and the leaves go flying, and the kites go flying, and the animals have a problem. They are blown all over the place, upside down, in the trees, back where things started. The animals have a fox problem. They are furious with him. They put their hands on their hips. They point their fingers. Get out of here! Wait! says Elephant. Elephant has an idea.
And it's a very good idea. Because the real problem here is that the kites were stuck, right? And now they're back up in the trees. But maybe if someone would help fox get the kites down, he wouldn't need to blow them with a fan or suck them up with a vacuum. Maybe. So guess what happens? They get them all down. And Elephant's idea is that they work together to get all of the kites down from the tree. And so we can see them all stacking up on one another and carefully pulling down all of the kites. And our last picture in the book.
Show us! That they all get to go. A kite flying adventure together, because now they've got all the kites down.
