Okay, let's get real about health care for a second. I think we can all agree it doesn't always work the way it should. If you've ever waited on a prescription refill or had a hard time getting the care you needed, you know what I mean. The system should just work better for everyone. That's exactly what the people at Optum are trying to do every day. They're a health care company linking patient care and pharmacy services and using data and technology to drive the whole system. So care is connected, not complicated. For patients and providers, things like making it easier to get care that looks at the whole person, from primary care doctors to mental health support and even in-home care and then using technology to make sure they all work together. Technology designed to help doctors spend less time on busy work and more time with their patients. And those prescriptions, Optum is bringing costs down, saving patients money and making it easier to get refills. Little by little, Optum is helping make health care work as one for everyone. Head to business.optum.com to see how.

How climate risks are changing communities and the tough negotiations behind the current WNBA season.
From Marketplace in Washington, I'm Kimberly Adams. More people are moving out of flood-prone areas than are moving in. Last year, counties with high flood risk had a net loss of over 60,000 residents, more than double the year before, according to a recent analysis from Redfin. Counties with a low flood risk had a net gain of about 70,000 residents. Marketplace's Samantha Fields has more.

Miami-Dade in Florida lost more residents last year than any other flood-prone county.
Harris County, Texas, which includes Houston, was not far behind. In both areas, about a third of homes are considered high risk for flooding.
**Daryl Fairweather** (2:17)
I think the real reason people are moving out, though, is because of affordability.
**Samantha Fields** (2:21)
Daryl Fairweather, chief economist at Redfin, says there's increasingly a link between the two.

Climate risk makes things less affordable.

In places that are prone to flooding or hurricanes, homeowners' insurance is going up, often by a lot. If you're in an actual flood zone, you'll also have to buy flood insurance. Then there's the potential cost of having to repair your home if it gets damaged.
Jeremy Porter, chief economist at the nonprofit First Street, says these days people have a lot more access to data about a home's climate risks before they buy.
**Jeremy Porter** (2:53)
They are making the connection oftentimes between this is a high-risk flood area, there's probably going to be higher rates of insurance, and that's going to make my monthly cost of my mortgage more expensive.
**Samantha Fields** (3:04)
A study published in the National Bureau of Economic Research found that when people see data about climate risks in advance, they're more likely to choose a home with lower risk.
**Jeremy Porter** (3:14)
What I've really seen over the last 10 years is this huge growth in awareness.
**Samantha Fields** (3:18)
And more recently, a corresponding change in where people are choosing to live. I'm Samantha Fields for Marketplace.

Google has been hit with the new $1 billion fine from the European Commission. That's the European Union's main executive body. The Commission says that Google broke EU rules by unfairly using its position to Bigfoot competitors, both in Search and with Google Play. The billion-dollar fine is a drop in the proverbial bucket for Google parent company Alphabet. It just reported quarterly earnings of over $100 billion.
Alphabet is currently down 4% in pre-market trading.
