FLIGHT OF FANCY | Day 216 | FlyDubai mystery | Kiev strikes | Brazil showdown | Ireland v Israel

MOATS with George Galloway

October 5, 2026

Flight of fancy, or another fairytale from the war machine? Day 216 and the official story is already wobbling. Netanyahu claims there was a “second 9/11” plan on a Tel Aviv-bound FlyDubai plane. But before the ink is dry, the propaganda drums are beating. Who benefits from the panic?

France is burning, a new French revolution is in the air. Spain is not far behind, Romania too. And in Germany, the tectonic plates have shifted. So the Chancellor has taken the train to Kiev with another huge satchel full of German taxpayers' money. You couldn't make it up. And the price of diesel is burning up the Western economies.

But the Persian Gulf itself entirely may soon be in flames. You've come to the right place with the best guests and the best callers and hey, the best monologue. It's the Mother of All Talk Show. Stay tuned.

And we are live from Cape Town, South Africa for the final time on this visit. But we'll be back very, very soon and a wonderful place it is. South Africa is a hive of politics. It is a hive of lively political debate. And indeed, we are in a pre-election period in South Africa. As you can see, I'm an ANC man. I was back then underground. I am now. And as long as I calculate that this period of South Africa's history requires a party like the ANC, an all-national party, that can bring the disparate elements of all the multitude of communities in South Africa together, and just as importantly for me, keep South Africa on the right side, the Shirat al-Mustaqim, on the right path in world affairs. I'll trust the ANC rather than any of the others. But, that's another matter for another day. As you can tell from my voice, I've been doing an awful lot of speaking. That's why I've got extra guests this evening to help me through. But starting in France, 70,000 French people have been murdered by the Macron regime. I'm making that bit up, of course, but then they were making it up about Iran not so long ago, which was the prelude, the precursor to a massive US and Israeli attack on Iran. I say 70,000, that went up to 100,000 at one point, came down to 41,000 at one point. At one point, the French media said that they were having to bring ice cream vans in to store the corpses. So many had been slain. Well, we could say the same about France. It wouldn't be true, but then it wasn't true when they said it about Iran. But it served its purpose. It paved the way for what has turned into a most cataclysmic war, and one which might be about to get very much worse. In France, though, it is burning. It is burning everywhere. One of the remarkable things about right wing trash on British Twitter is, no matter how much they hate Macron, I mean, they have been evincing their hatred for Macron and his government for years.

But the thought that the rioters might be black, the thought that the rioters might be Muslim, it's got them swinging right behind Macron and his goose-stepping anti-riot police. It is one of the miracles of this age. Check out and see if I am wrong. Me, I want the fall of the regime. I want the fall of the dictator. I'm with the people of France, down with Macron, and whomever is trying to bring him down will have my support. He has long, long outstayed any welcome that he might have had, and he only had it half-heartedly in the first place. The state of France is because of French foreign policy. The state of France is because Africa has broken free of France. The state of France is because they are doubling the money to be spent on weapons and war. And why? Well, you know why. We'll come back to that later. The state of the schools, the colleges and the universities and the housing, the state of the cost of living, the state of the cuts to long held rights of French workers, is the reason why France is turned upside down now. Of course, the French are revolutionary people. That's why the boulevards are so wide, because in former times, narrow streets and alleyways proved a very, very tempting target for the barricades. You can't really barricade boulevards as long and wide as the French, but the people are moving freely through the streets in opposition to the regime. In Spain, the proximate cause is housing. An 87-year-old woman was literally carried out by agents of the rentier class, evicted from her home that she lived in for 70 years. You just never know what will be the last straw that will break the camel's back. You just never know what will be the spark that sets the political wildfire. Well, it was that old lady being brutally treated by the goons of landlordism and the people of Spain are risen all over the country. They are being met by swinging batons, tear gas and all the paraphernalia of a police force which often looks like the police force in former times in Spain under the dictatorship of General Franco. In Romania, the proximate cause is the jailing, the arrest, second arrest, in two weeks and now being held in a cell by far the most popular Romanian political leader. George Escu would be the president of Romania, if the EU and its goons in wigs. Do they wear wigs in Romania? I don't know. Cloaks, let's call them cloaks, who removed George Escu from the election when he had won the first ballot by a country mile and would have been elected as president. But because he doesn't want war with Russia, because he wants Romania to be Romania, rather than a province of Brussels, a province under the governorship of Ursula von Dov. Lying, they had to get rid of him. And get rid of him, they did. And they are still trying. He's accused of forming an organized crime group. He's the most popular political leader in Romania. And in Germany, well, what can one say?
