There is so much going on today. Some of the news, I don't know what to make of. And you'll know which stories I'm talking about later on in the rundown. Yes, we're going to talk about that FlyDubai flight that the Israelis want us to already believe was a hijacking incident based on jihadi terrorism.

We shouldn't jump to conclusions yet. We don't know all the details. In fact, we have no idea what the motivations were of a co-pilot who got violent against the captain of that flight. And we'll tell you all the details later in this hour. We are going to start off with a pretty big story that broke last night after we did the show. And of course, it has to do with the fact that our government hates us and they never miss an opportunity to tell us how much they hate us. Even if a foreign country is killing us, they will literally go out of their way to vote down an amendment that would call for the State Department to just release a report.

Release a report, look into it maybe.

Americans getting killed, maybe we need to look into that? No, no, the vast majority of Republican senators not interested, not interested because they're bot and they're disgusting. But anyway, we'll get to that in just a bit. Second hour, I'll do an interview with an expert who just wrote a book actually on artificial intelligence, we'll dive into the economics of it. The impact it's going to have on our economy. But more importantly, what are the real safety risks associated with artificial intelligence? And I will, of course, ask him to speak to me as if I'm a toddler because these concepts, while it might seem simple to understand on the surface, there's a lot that we don't know. And I love talking to people who are knowledgeable about this, so I'm looking forward to that. Anyway, in our members only bonus episode, Amber Duke, who happens to be the editor in chief over at The Daily Caller will be joining us to talk about the report that they put out on Emily Schrader, where Trump administration officials argued that she's a foreign agent. But more importantly, we're going to talk about a broader, we're going to have a broader discussion about foreign influence here in the United States. And I think it goes deeper than just Israel, although Israel, of course, has the most undue influence over our political system. All right, well, without further ado, let's get to our first story.

In just over four years, nine American citizens have been killed on the West Bank by violent Israeli settlers or members of the Israeli security forces.

And there has been zero, zero accountability, no justice for their families, no one held accountable. It's long past time that we shine a light on these killings, and all of the human rights abuses taking place in the West Bank to get answers.

SPEAKER_3 (3:13)

The yeas are 47, the nays are 51, the motion is not agreed to.

Scott Horton likes to say that we, the people, should hate the government at least as much as the government hates us. And no story communicates to me that our government hates us than what I'm about to share with you. The man you just heard from is Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen. He proposed an amendment to a piece of legislation that would call for the United States State Department to investigate and put out a report on the nine American citizens who have been killed in the West Bank by either IDF or Israel or Israeli terrorists.

There's been absolutely no consequences for these individuals. There's been no real investigation into any of it, not a single politician really seemed to care about it until suddenly Senator Van Hollen comes out with this proposal. And it turns out that nearly every single Republican Senator voted against it. Voted against, in my opinion, the bare minimum, okay? What I believe is honestly a pretty milk toast proposal, because it's just calling for the State Department to investigate this and put out a report.

But the vast majority of Republicans, except for one, Senator Rand Paul, not in favor of that. They're in favor of picking your pockets for Israel. They're in favor of you bankrolling Israel's war. They're in favor of American service members fighting Israel's wars. But when it comes to Israelis killing American citizens in the West Bank, have at it, Haas, as Cenk likes to say, have at it. Why not? No consequences, no investigation. These lawmakers couldn't care less because they're bought. So let's get to the details on what happened here.
