So, Eel Cezno, I think we've mentioned you in previous episodes and all good things. Why don't you give us a little bit of your SCCV, which is sort of your, when's the first time you played StarCraft? What do you enjoy about StarCraft? Anything you want to mention about StarCraft?
**Eel Cezno** (0:54)
I think I played like the original a couple of times when it came out, but yeah, I think I only really started playing StarCraft 2 the last few years.
**Space Camel** (1:07)
Well, cool. And is there any particular thing that you enjoy about StarCraft?
**Eel Cezno** (1:12)
Well, I guess I kind of like the real-time strategy, but I also don't play a ton of real-time strategy games that often.
**Space Camel** (1:24)
Yeah. I find for my... Go ahead.
**Eel Cezno** (1:29)
Especially once you have to do the economy and batter and all that stuff at the same time.
**Space Camel** (1:36)
Yeah, because I've played other strategy games that are turn-based, and those are interesting, like us, you do a lot of thinking and whatnot. But it's not so stressful though, because not only is everything happening at once, but you're against someone else who's also doing all their commands as quick as they can.
**Eel Cezno** (2:01)
Well, especially when you have like playing multi-players. So, you know, you could be fighting a batter, checking on one base, then like trying to defend another base or at the same time.
**Space Camel** (2:14)
Yeah. Yeah, I guess listeners, we usually have sort of like a weekly game with some other friends, and it's usually like four to six of us. And yeah, those games are pretty hectic. I think once or twice we've had like a four and four match. And oh, those are just chaos, aren't they?
They're fun in their own way. But yeah, let's move along. News, I don't really know about any StarCraft news. Besides to sort of follow up on SC Evolution or SC Evo, which is the StarCraft 2 and you can play StarCraft 1 units. What's your take on that? Do you think was that fun? Was that cool or was that like, it wasn't that big a deal for you?
**Eel Cezno** (2:56)
It was kind of interesting just because it was kind of advantages and disadvantages. Yeah, I forgot if it was the StarCraft 1 or something. I think the drones or grunt type units mined traces fast or something.
**Space Camel** (3:18)
Oh, yeah.
**Eel Cezno** (3:19)
Yeah, that's right. Yeah, I forgot.
**Space Camel** (3:22)
Yeah, all the workers worked a lot faster.
**Eel Cezno** (3:24)
Yeah, like there was a noticeable difference.
**Space Camel** (3:27)
Yeah. And one thing that I also especially noticed, the StarCraft 1 carriers, Protoss carriers, they had a lot more armor than they do in StarCraft 2 And so, like, because I always remember, you know, back when I played StarCraft 1, you know, a couple decades ago, being like, oh, man, yeah, like carrier armors are just like, you know, an army of carriers is just like impossible to be, like, literally impossible to be. And, you know, I've sort of like, I've been skeptical of that. I've been like, you know, more recently, I've been like thinking, you know, maybe it wasn't so bad. I mean, I just didn't think about it well enough, you know, what strategies to use. But I think, you know, having played SC EVO, we were like, you know, I think there is a match, and you had some StarCraft 1 carriers, and I had like a ton of Marines, and I was like, okay, I could take care of these. And they just like did nothing. And they just like, my Marines just melted, even though they're like shooting at these carriers like forever.
Yeah, that's quite a difference. So do you think, would, do you think, is it like revolutionary for the game? Or is it sort of, it was just a fun thing?
**Eel Cezno** (4:31)
I think more of a fun scene, because, well, yeah, because I can't really, I think it would be, I think people would be OK with it, like in a bigger gaming sense over some of the crazier mods. Yeah, yeah, it's kind of like, because it's, but I think it's just, but I think it's harder just because the older units kind of stay as they are as every once in a while StarCraft 2 kind of rebalances scenes now and then.
