Hey, Valerie, hey, you know what?

My niece sent me a little text message, and she said, hey, somehow she found out that I was the most famous cosmetic chemist. If you look up on Google, and she said, well, it's true. And she's like, do you mind if I tell my teacher that?

Valerie George (0:51)

So cool.

Perry Romanowski (0:52)

And she used this term, she said, this is my biggest flex. So what are the little kids, what do the 13 year olds these days mean by the word flex? This is my flex.

Valerie George (1:06)

Gosh, I have no idea. Maybe that's a question our listeners can answer, but we're gonna answer some questions today about Paula's Choice and whether or not it lives up to its claims. Does My Perfect Eyes make your eyes perfect? Can I heat up my product to get rid of the fragrance?

Does Lotion P50 deserve a 100? And what products are more heavily regulated in the US versus the EU? But first, let's talk about our Patreon event that we did last week.

Yeah, that was a lot of fun. We did a question and answer live session just for patrons. And so they came on and they were able to ask pretty much any question about beauty questions. There were beauty product questions, of course, but then there were also questions about just you and I. So that was fun.

Valerie George (1:57)

Yeah, I had a great time. The hour went by so fast.

And I actually think that we should do those more often since our patrons are so generous and contributing to keep us funded with all of the administrative fees that it takes to have a podcast and a website, et cetera.

I was so early to the game. So early to the game.

But most importantly, my hair, I look like a billionaire with my hair today. And I wish I could tell everyone what was used on me, but I can't because it's still in development. Sometimes like that's the worst. Like you want to share your product with everyone and you're like, oh, I can't, because it won't come out for a year.

But I won't forget this product. My hair looks so good. And it's even day two hair.

Perry Romanowski (3:35)

It does look nice, straight, shiny and a nice color. And of course, you have this new lipstick on or something. You are just really, you're glowing right now.

Valerie George (3:45)

Yeah, when you have a good hair day, it puts you in such a good mood. And Mr. Cosmetic Chemist thinks I'm up to something. He's like, what happened at work today? You're in a good mood.

Perry Romanowski (3:54)

This is weird.

And I'm like, I look like Kate Middleton. Hello, like who wouldn't be in a good mood?
