Hammer and Nigel.

You believe these characters?

SPEAKER_1 (0:02)

They're weird of us.

Jason Hammer (0:07)

Katie Zachariah, more like Katie Sayonara. Am I right? Am I right, people? Come on.

That's how you start a Beer Sample Friday.

I'm Jason Hammer, The Gun Guy, Guy Relford. He's with me today as Big Nigel's out. More on the change of White House press secretary coming up. We've got polling for Secretary of State to get to. But first, let's go to the hotline right now. Bring on JOB., Jim O'Brien from Fox 59 And Jim, two days ago, I'm outside. I'm still cutting the grass, mulching up leaves, honestly. You know, I'm sweaty. I got jorts on. And today I walk outside and I'm not going to lie, it was pretty freaking cold.

Jim O'Brien (0:57)

There is a chill in the air, boys. There's no doubt about it. In fact, the wind chill right now is about 44 degrees out at the airport. So we're into it for later on tonight. There's no doubt about it. And on top of that, after finally drying out throughout the afternoon, we've got another rain chance coming in for tonight. So all high school football games heading into Purdue up towards West Lafayette. You're heading up to Purdue, Washington game tonight. There is going to be a chance of rain around. We're talking wind chills in the thirties by eight, nine o'clock tonight. Actually getting down into the upper thirties early tomorrow morning with patchy frost. And then we've got IU tomorrow as well taking out Ohio State. So all that tailgating down there in Bloomington early on, once you get down there, you're going to want to have a lot of layers. But there will be a ton of sunshine for the weekend. We are expecting highs tomorrow into the mid to upper fifties. So a really great day, plenty of sunshine, but just cool. And kind of just a real true case of fall weathered out for the next couple of days, we start to recover. We can get back to your George Spide. Now let's take Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Guy Relford (2:01)

So Jim, actually a kickoff tomorrow in Bloomington at noon. What are you saying right then?

Jim O'Brien (2:07)

Noon time, I'm thinking probably 49, maybe 50 degrees by kickoff at noon tomorrow down in Bloomington. So my daughters are down there right now. They're ready for the tailgate. They always ask me, Dad, what do I need to wear? So I'm like, you know, sweatshirt, sweatshirt's kind of that outfit, you know, the matching sweatshirt and sweatpants kind of deal. So yeah, it's gonna be cool down in Memorial Stadium. There's no doubt about it, but that sunshine and the light wind, it's gonna feel actually warmer than, you know, the actual air temperatures throughout the afternoon. That sunshine is gonna help out tomorrow.

Jason Hammer (2:41)

And Jim, let's go to Sunday. Colts have a home game.

What are the chances the roof is open on Sunday?

Jim O'Brien (2:49)

Open the roof. I mean, we won the last game with the roof open. The shadows get a little weird. The shadows do get weird at Lucas Oil on the field. I'm not gonna lie. And, you know, sometimes that might be a disadvantage. But yeah, you gotta have the roof open. If you're talking mid 60s and sunshine on Sunday, I mean, there's no reason why not to. Now, if you are heading to that game and you're in the shadows in the stands, it's gonna be cool. So, you know, dress for what's gonna feel like probably the upper 50s in the stands where that sun isn't shining on Sunday. I mean, really a great weekend forecast, minus the rain chance tonight. No one ever looked at because once this rain starts to come in, the winds kick up a little bit more. Wind gusts fill up to about 30 miles an hour throughout tonight. So the high school football games tonight, not that great. Again, that Purdue game, not great for tonight, but much better. And then we've got a long stretch of dry weather. I mean, starting tomorrow all the way through Thursday of next week, no rain and tons of sunshine each and every day through Thursday of next week. So great weather to get outside and still enjoy it. Just the only hiccup is later on tonight.

Jason Hammer (3:54)

Jim, my seats at Lucas Oil Stadium, my wife and I, season ticket holders, I sit in the end zone and it's right where the sun beats right in my face. So every Sunday when the roof is open, I leave there with the most bitchin Beech Grove, Indiana farmers tan you've ever seen.
