Hammer and Nigel.
SPEAKER_2 (0:01)
You believe these characters?
SPEAKER_3 (0:02)
They're weird of us.
SPEAKER_4 (0:03)
So let's rock it!
Nigel Sidenhammer (0:06)
My name is Nigel. Jason Hammer, right over there. Early voting is open, Hammer in Indiana.
Jason Hammer (0:13)
And tonight, let's go.
Nigel Sidenhammer (0:15)
Tap the keg.
SPEAKER_7 (0:17)
Whoo!
Nigel Sidenhammer (0:18)
Put the wings in the smoker.
SPEAKER_7 (0:20)
Yeah!
SPEAKER_8 (0:21)
It's...
Nigel Sidenhammer (0:24)
It's the Secretary of State debate night.
SPEAKER_8 (0:27)
Get some, baby!
Jason Hammer (0:28)
Let's go! Secretary of State debate, Mother Lager.
Nigel Sidenhammer (0:33)
Although, I will say, I'm interested, and it's been a contentious race so far. And I actually cannot...
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to watch. It'll be fun.
Jason Hammer (0:47)
It has the opportunity...
Nigel Sidenhammer (0:49)
Yes.
Jason Hammer (0:50)
to be like a Saturday Night Live sketch, because Beau Bayh is going to go up there and run for governor.
You're going to have Greg Ballard go up there and deliver, you know, boomer like zingers. OK.
You're going to have Max Engeling up there, seemingly the one guy that actually wants to do this job. And then there's the libertarian candidate, Lori Schillings. She's the small business owner from Hamilton County. So you got four people up there. They're all going to want to have their mic time. I'm curious to see who they gang up on, because what we've seen in the past, Nigel, when it comes to like these presidential primary debates or even crap at a local level, you'll see a couple candidates form an alliance and go after one specific candidate.
Nigel Sidenhammer (1:44)
I bet they go after Bo. Little, little baby Bo.
Jason Hammer (1:47)
Little baby Bo. You think Ballard's going to work with Engeling as much as he's crapped on the Republican Party?
Nigel Sidenhammer (1:53)
Oh, that's true. Yeah.
SPEAKER_8 (1:55)
I don't know.
Nigel Sidenhammer (1:56)
I think everybody should write in Diego Morales. That's what I that's my endorsement.
Jason Hammer (2:05)
That's going to be Max Engeling's opening statement. I am not Diego Morales. I know there's an R next to my name, but sweet mother of all that's pure, I am not Diego Morales.
Thank you.
Nigel Sidenhammer (2:20)
So you watch it?
Jason Hammer (2:21)
Yeah, we're going to have it here on WIBC after our show.
Seven o'clock. So if you can't make it to a television, I know it's on WFYI TV tonight. We're going to have it here on 93 WIBC. The moderator is our friend, Dr. Laura Wilson, from the University of Indianapolis. And it's my understanding, the key topics tonight are state regulation, election security, and businesses.
Nigel Sidenhammer (2:55)
Oh, wow.
Jason Hammer (2:56)
That's what we're focusing on tonight.
Nigel Sidenhammer (2:59)
Man.
Jason Hammer (2:59)
I didn't hear taxes in there, Nigel. I didn't hear gun control in there.
Nigel Sidenhammer (3:04)
It's going to be a disappointment for Bo.
It is. Apparently, Bo has a say in your taxes when running for the secretary of state, at least according to the ads I've seen. Right.
Jason Hammer (3:17)
He's going to show up with his gun and his veto pin for taxes and be very upset.
Nigel Sidenhammer (3:23)
Very upset. Dr. Laura, if her first question isn't, so Bo, how much can you bench? If that's not her first question, I'm going to be very disappointed.
Jason Hammer (3:32)
What's your bench? Max Ingling.
SPEAKER_9 (3:34)
Let me go around the horn here.
Nigel Sidenhammer (3:35)
Yeah, do it for the whole crew. Sure.
Jason Hammer (3:40)
No live studio audience, which I think is good. Sometimes you get the studio audience in there, and you get some numb nuts that's clapping too long, and it takes away the time.
Nigel Sidenhammer (3:51)
God, who would show up for that?
Jason Hammer (3:54)
Oh, I don't know. I'm tailgating. You said earlier.
Nigel Sidenhammer (3:57)
I don't know.
Tailgating is one thing from the comfort of your couch, but actually having to go to the thing where it's... I'm sure it's a dry debate. They're not selling concessions.
Jason Hammer (4:12)
That would be great if they did.
Nigel Sidenhammer (4:13)
Wouldn't that be awesome?
Jason Hammer (4:15)
Like if this were a good old-fashioned drinking contest, I think maybe Greg Ballard might have a chance in that one. I don't know. The wily veteran in that.
But tonight, Indiana election security, state regulation, and business in the state of Indiana. OK. Here with a preview of what to expect. Back once again, exclusively on The Hammer and Nigel Show, AI.
SPEAKER_11 (4:43)
Hello, you ignorant sacks of crap. Bo-bye here. I seriously can't believe you people think I have the ability to lower taxes.
