Hammer and Nigel.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:01)
Do you believe these characters? They're weirdos.

**SPEAKER_4** (0:06)
Over a period of years, starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history.

**Nigel** (0:20)
President Trump's last night, Hammer, laying out how China, China, China has been tampering with American elections since at least 2018
I thought it was a great address to the nation, very energetic, and I was thinking that he might mention China. I didn't know he was going to drop the proverbial hammer on China. The president last night basically reframed free and safe elections as a national security issue. And he brought the receipts. China has been meddling.

**Hammer** (0:55)
Now receipts is the key phrase here, because every leftist that believes every conspiracy theory is like, but what about Russia in 2016?
Russia and Putin helped get Trump elected. How is it different? Well, it's different because there's proof here. How much money, how many taxpayer dollars were spent having old Bobby Mueller Mueller go through the Mueller report to find out there was no shenanigans?

**Nigel** (1:23)
It was a hoax. The Russia thing was bogus.

**Hammer** (1:25)
Yes.
So that's the difference, because I swear, last night, you know, I was kind of live tweeting the event on the Hammer and Nigel Twitter account, and you can tell all the bots and the lefties. Now do Russia. Now do Russia. Well, now find some proof.

**Nigel** (1:42)
OK, I'll do Russia. It was debunked.
Right. Right. There you go. There's Russia.

**Hammer** (1:49)
What channel, what network did you watch the address on?

**Nigel** (1:52)
Just Fox News.

**Hammer** (1:53)
OK. We had it here on 93WIBC. Hopefully, if you couldn't make it to a TV, you caught it here. But Fox aired it.
CBS aired it.
CNN, NBC and ABC refused to air it last night. But here's the thing about CBS, just because I'm a nerd and I was channel surfing around to see how these networks are going to cover it. Right before the president goes up there to do his address, CBS, they basically apologized for having to air the presidential address. And it kind of sounded like a hostage, like speaking into a camera.

**SPEAKER_7** (2:34)
And honestly, much of what the president has said on this topic has been false, most notably, of course, the claim that he won the 2020 election, when of course he did not. Because of this, there is an argument that it's irresponsible to air the president's speech tonight.
But this speech will be made, it will be news, and it's our job to cover the news. And so we are, my CBS News colleagues and I are reporting tonight along with you to make sense of it, as you will, and we will do it together. What it means for the country, what is true and what is not.

**Nigel** (3:09)
And by the way, he didn't say anything like that last night. He didn't talk about rigged elections, how it was stolen, how he won the election in 2020 He didn't say anything about that.

**Hammer** (3:19)
No, I'm wondering if old Tony DeCople, whatever his name is at CBS, could do us all a favor and hold up a newspaper that's got the date on it, because that sounded like a hostage video. 100%.
Here is a little bit of the president last night on the stolen files that China has of American voters.

**SPEAKER_4** (3:43)
China's illicit acquisition of 220 million US voter files. That information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences, and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote and engage in other nefarious activities, which is exactly what was happening.
This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare.

**Hammer** (4:13)
It's a lot of files. Now that doesn't mean that all 220 million people had their name used, you know, in an election for somebody they didn't vote for. That's not what that means.
But China had access to 220 million files, and they could pick and choose the ones they wanted to screw with.

**Nigel** (4:32)
Target campaign against whatever.

**Hammer** (4:35)
Absolutely. Here's a little bit more from President Trump last night.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:39)
As the documents we are releasing show, CIA reporting explicitly stated, and I quote, in mid 2018, the Chinese Communist Party's policy was to leverage all domestic and foreign elements that were opposed to the US president in an effort to reduce the US president's votes and make him resign or prevent his re-election. Isn't that nice? Also in mid 2018, China was working to influence the results of the US midterm elections and later the results of the 2020 presidential election itself.
