It's a respectful crowd because they saw us going on the air and thought, well, I don't want to say anything. They're talking. No, screw that. Let's be loud. Let's be rowdy. Let's be...

Right. Have you seen who hosts this show? You guys are going to be fine.
But you got plenty of time. Get your butts down here. Greenwood, 202 West Main Street, Premium Cocktails, Cigars, it's Beer Sample Friday. And earlier, Nigel, when I first got here, he pulled a cigar out of his pocket. And it looked like that scene in Revenge of the Nerds where Booger was like, hey guys, wonder joints. And he pulls this big ass cigar out.

I wanted to... I had it in my pocket waiting for the right time to light this sucker up. But I thought, well, we're getting ready to go on the air. That might as well be the right time, so.

**Jason Hammer** (1:21)
So that's the... Is that a cigar in your pocket or are you just happy to be at the C and C Lounge joke?

Yes. The answer is yes.

But come by and hang out if you've never been here. It's like Old Town Greenwood. I guess that's the vernacular here. Old Town Greenwood right here on Main Street. Just an awesome group of people. And man, some really good bourbons they've got hidden in the back. And I know this is an awesome place because Tony Katz is jealous he's not here.
Oh, he was texting me earlier. He's pissed off he's not here.

Let's get you up to date on some of the stories around Indy today.
Secretary of State candidate, fresh off his win at the Indiana GOP Convention, Max Engeling, laying out his priorities. If he gets elected, again, he's got a tough election against Bo Bai. But if elected, he says he wants to be working with lawmakers to get laws passed to close the primaries. He wants only US citizens voting in these elections.

Wants voter identification.

Well, what a novel concept.

**Jason Hammer** (2:36)
Somewhere John Thune was like, you're a fool. You're a fool if you want voter identification.

Talk about closing the primaries for a second.
I mean, that basically means if you're a Democrat and you know your Democrat guy is going to win his primary, you go vote for the lesser of the Republicans to try to siphon off votes for the guy who's going to beat your guy, right? Did I get that right?

**Jason Hammer** (2:56)
He basically is like, pick a side.

Yes.

**Jason Hammer** (2:58)
If you are a Democrat, you could only vote in the Democrat one. You don't get to declare when you get to the window, so to speak, to use a betting term. Now, somebody that had Max Engeling on the air earlier is our pal Brian Alvey, part of Those Ash Holes Podcast. Been filling in on the 9 to Noon Show, the midday show this week with Jerry Lopez. You had Max on your show, right?

Yeah, we did today. We had him on at 1030 hour. Yeah.

Now, what was his takes that he had for you guys today?

You know, the biggest thing that set in with me is how he is talking about how it's happening and how he's proactively trying to help it happen. The whole team coming together, the party's coming together after the primary, you know, they fought it out. Kind of the analogy I used was, hey, we were fighting to figure out who the starting quarterback of the team is. They figured that out. Teams coming together. They're going to go in the fall and try to win the Super Bowl.
