Do you believe these characters?

**Rainn Wilson** (0:16)
They're weirdos.

**Nigel** (0:21)
What is going on, party people? The Hammer and Nigel Road Show.
Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Nigel Ethan Hatcher, sitting right next to me here at the Shelby County Fair. We're in the Republican Headquarters, which is the first garage here in the grandstand, set up right across from the funnel cakes and the corn dogs.

**Ethan Hatcher** (0:40)
Oh, I can see them right now. They're cooking. They look so crispy and golden and delicious and delightful. I just want a corn dog.

**Nigel** (0:48)
Ethan was trudging around here before 3 o'clock. He was all mad because the corn dog place wasn't open yet. The fair doesn't open until 3 o'clock, like right now.

**Ethan Hatcher** (0:57)
I felt denied. I was wounded. I mean, are the employees not hungry too? Do they not want a little fair food setting up?

**Nigel** (1:04)
Let me tell you something. Before we get started with this segment here, you and I both went and got pizza over there at the Baldwin Commandery, number two. It's been there for 60 years.
And so a big thanks to my man Randall over there. But the Shelby County Fair, if I'm not mistaken, Chris from the fair told me that this is the 177th County Fair.

**Ethan Hatcher** (1:28)
Wow.

**Nigel** (1:29)
Did I get that right, Chris? Did I get that right? A hundred and seventy seven Shelby County Fair.

**Ethan Hatcher** (1:34)
I love Indiana traditions like that. It's beautiful.

**Nigel** (1:37)
I love Indiana County Fairs, man.

**Ethan Hatcher** (1:39)
Yeah.

**Nigel** (1:40)
But this place is no joke.

**Ethan Hatcher** (1:42)
This is like pre-gaming.

**Nigel** (1:43)
Yeah. Live entertainment, the big midway, food everywhere, lots of rides, lots of stuff to do for the kids. We're just getting started here this week. It's going on all week at the 177th Shelby County Fair. Now, going into the weekend, we didn't know Donald Trump, it's going into his 80th birthday. We're having the UFC 250 fight out of the South Lawn. We've even got the World Cup going on in Los Angeles at 9 o'clock. Quite a weekend to be an American sports fan, and quite a time to be a sports fan because the hockey team won the Olympics a few months ago. But we went into this weekend also with the prospect of some sort of deal being signed officially or unofficially by Donald Trump and whoever he's negotiating with, and assuming it's a civilian government in Iran.
The term that Trump is using is peace deal. A peace deal with Iran is complete. It's going to be signed Friday. So happy birthday to President Trump. I think you and I have both. Beyond the politics of this, beyond whether or not we should have even been there in the first place, I just, I'm at the point where I'm losing patience and I want it to end.
I don't think Donald Trump is going to put his nose out there unless something is actually meaningful is happening this time.

**Ethan Hatcher** (3:07)
Happy birthday to Donald Trump. Certainly, history will remember him as one of the most consequential presidents to ever take over the Oval Office. But as far as the peace deal is concerned, the way I've seen this reported, it's not quite the peace deal. It's a prelude to the peace deal. It's a memorandum of understanding that will buy the administration an additional 60 days to continue negotiating the final peace deal and the terms of the nuclear surrender.

**Nigel** (3:34)
Well, they're going to stop firing at each other. They're going to work out what's ever going on with the Strait of Hormuz to get people moving through there.

**Ethan Hatcher** (3:42)
This does not however include Israel, does it? Israel has indicated that they will continue bombing the crap out of Lebanon for the foreseeable future.

**Nigel** (3:50)
Well, because of Hezbollah, for sure. And Donald Trump doesn't like it one bit, but neither one of those are beholden to each other. And here is the difference.
Trey Yankst is a reporter, a friend of the show, and for Fox News. And he went out, I believe on either Saturday or last night, talking about his sources within the administration. I believe he said he even talked to Donald Trump about maybe a difference between this deal and Obama's previous deal. Go ahead.

**Trey Yankst** (4:23)
So broadly speaking, the JCPOA deal negotiated under President Obama allowed Iran a path toward a nuclear program. Because when we talk about enriched uranium, and this is really important when we look at the difference in these deals here. And I don't want to give you too much of a lesson on enrichment, but it's actually quite important when we're talking about the Obama deal versus the deal that was just signed right now.
