Hammer and Nigel.
**Mike Hurst** (0:01)
You believe these characters?
**Nigel** (0:02)
They're weird of us.
Oh boy, Bo Bye, he's dashing, he's debonair. He's the Democratic nominee for the Secretary of State in this year's election. Hammer Bowe got like 60% of the delegate vote beating grassroots candidate Blythe.
**Jason Hammer** (0:25)
Bo Bye, if you thought the way the local media treated Joe Hogsett after the riots, when he went missing, and we all know where he was at, and nobody wanted to ask any tough questions. If you thought that was being a butt-sniffer, get ready, because, I mean, there are people in this building, there are people that consider themselves conservatives, there are people that work in television that are just bending over backwards about how dreamy and what a great candidate Bo Bye is.
**Nigel** (0:56)
I mean, Hammer, he does have the pedigree, son of Evan Bye, grandson of Birch Bye, a well-known political family and figure. I mean, he is a, he's an attorney, he's a marine vet, and this is exactly the most political position for Secretary of State, right?
**Jason Hammer** (1:18)
No, it's not. And I see a lot of people saying, well, if Bo Bye wins, is he going to make Indiana's elections like what you see in California right now? And for those of you who don't know, California's elections are an absolute joke, and they did exactly what we thought they would do.
**Nigel** (1:37)
It's a disaster.
**Jason Hammer** (1:38)
And that's totally screw over.
**Nigel** (1:40)
You called it.
**Jason Hammer** (1:41)
Yeah, Spencer Pratt. We called it. Anybody with two eyes and a functioning brain knew they were going to do that. That's what California does. And meanwhile, the Republicans are going to sit back and let it happen and screw every single Republican senator that voted against the Save America Act that would require voter identifications for elections moving forward.
You still couldn't have got to 60, but you could have had a conversation about maybe screwing the filibuster. But you couldn't even do that because the people like Mitch McConnell and other butthurt Republicans that just don't like Donald Trump. So instead, you've got like California's issues right now.
And look, if you look at the Indiana law, the secretary of state cannot change how we do elections. That's going to have to come from the governor and the General Assembly. So if you're somebody that is concerned about that, I get it, but it's not going to happen overnight. It's almost like the Dems are playing the long game here because I got news for you. Bo doesn't have his sights set on secretary of state.
**Nigel** (2:51)
It's called a stepping stone.
**Jason Hammer** (2:53)
Yes, absolutely.
**Nigel** (2:56)
I mean, if you think you're the grandson of Birch Bayh and the son of Evan Bayh, you're going to settle for secretary of state.
**Jason Hammer** (3:05)
Yeah, OK, he's wanting to be the governor of Indiana and the money will come in. I mean, he's getting a crap ton of money coming from out of state. So this is kind of laying the groundwork for the Democrats to become relevant in the state of Indiana.
Nigel, turning our attention to international issues. World's crappiest ceasefire continues.
Woke up to the news that Iran and Israel play in the feud overnight. Trump's kind of pissed off at everybody yelling at Israel, yelling at Iran, basically telling Iran, all right, you fired your missiles. Are you happy now? Can we get back to having some conversations? Here's the latest from Trey Yanks, the Fox News.
**Trey Yanks** (3:56)
And again, the president reiterating his desire for a diplomatic solution today, calling on both Israel and Iran to stop shooting. The Israelis conducted dozens of strikes against the Iranian regime in response to that missile fire and then early this morning just after sunrise, sirens sounded across Israel's second largest city of Tel Aviv amid the incoming Houthi ballistic missile fire launched from Yemen, an Iranian proxy there. The Iranians then followed up with more ballistic missiles against Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the northern city of Haifa before all of this started to deescalate amid those calls from President Trump for both sides to stop shooting. But again, the latest information that we have, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced they will halt their fire against Israel and the Israelis have not struck Iran for at least four hours, an indication that we may be looking at a return to ceasefire.
**Jason Hammer** (4:49)
Would you like to hear a dad joke? Sure. What is it called when you're trying to bomb the Houthis, but you miss and it lands in the water? Houthi and the blowfish.
