Welcome to Marketecture Podcast. This is Ari Paparo. I'm here with Eric Franchi. Our guest today is another Aperium executive. It's Corey Ferengul, many of you know, who's the managing partner of Aperium. And we're going to be talking about the latest infographic, I guess, the latest product marketing from the VCs, or really it's about the trend. You guys identified a trend and created a graphic, and we're here to talk about the trend and the graphic. Yeah, yeah.
Eric Franchi (1:39)
So I don't know, maybe like six or seven months ago, we just saw this wave of companies in a specific category that did not have a name, that are using AI to just do everything end-to-end. And we started tracking them, we started organizing them, and we were like, this thing is so real, because by the way, there's like at least 20 of them that we've tracked, and we put together a slide.
And we're using a name, it's called a Unified Media Platform, or UMK. And Corey has been front and center of this, has got incredible, I think, thinking and insight, so we decided to have him on, in concert with publishing this thing.

Great. So, next week's show will be the interview at Marketecture Live Chicago. So, that will be coming next Friday. If you didn't realize, we have a show, it's next week, it's in Chicago. If you don't have a ticket, there's still a couple available, and you can jump on the hourly flights from LaGuardia to O'Hare, or wherever you're coming from, and join us there. It should be a great show, amazing speakers.
And I'll be there saying hi to people, you know, that's worth something. And then we did a pretty big product launch this week. So Marketecture is not just a bunch of podcasts, we also have tech, and we have a lot of data. So I've been working this summer on and off on my secret project. It's called madjobs.ai. It is a job board. It's the world's largest job board for advertising, in our opinion. We didn't really scientifically measure that, but it's got over 12,000 jobs, and you don't have to give us your resume or do any of that. It just links out to the hiring companies. We scanned hundreds of hiring companies, and we take their jobs, and then we use AI to make sense of them, because raw job listings are confusing, so we have skills required and levels, or is it an internship or a senior job, locations, all kinds of categorization, et cetera, and you can build a really detailed profile of yourself and get daily or weekly emails of all the latest jobs. So we think you'll like it. It's madjobs.ai.
And we have, since we announced it on Tuesday, got, I think, close to a thousand signups or something like that, so we're pretty excited about that. Did you have a chance to check it out, Eric?
Eric Franchi (4:08)
Yeah, I've been playing with it. And it's awesome, and especially for, like, you know, the non-big platforms that, you know, kind of like need to get their open jobs out there to the world. It's fantastic. Like, I've been sending it to our portfolio. You put it in the Slack. It's great.
But I'd personally play with it. I'm blown away. Thank you for doing this. Awesome.
Ari Paparo (4:31)
Yeah. You know, I look at my career, and one of the things I really like to do is organize information. Like, I've been in various startups throughout my life.
I like taking big, disparate data sets and organizing them. And with AI, it's just a superpower capability. You could do so much to build a professional-level website with lots of really rich data. Anyway, it's free. I hope you use it. Tell your friends who are looking for jobs, madjobs.ai. And if you're an employer, you can also claim your listings.
We have a paid program where you could sponsor certain listings, so they go to the top of the list. But even if you don't want to spend any money, claim your company, update your logo, do stuff like that. It's easy and free, and you should do it.
